Back in the day, the PRU started up a bank and the aim was to capture funds from the maturing policies!!!!! This meant the money stayed in the PRU coffers and could be re invested to make even more money for themselves!!!!!! We as consultants were expected - with no financial reward - to sign every maturity up!!!!! It didn't go down well!!!

I wonder what happened after we were all made redundant???

In a time where all the major banks are closing branches, this would be a very good idea. Amigo is a good brand name - "friend"- and as the high street is not very friendly at the moment the time is right!!!!

The 3 appointments today are all part of the final end game. Nayan is going, Roger is going, 3 competent newbies hand picked by a CEO turnaround specialist, Q2 results to come....... and go!!!! Next year restart lending and an end to this fiasco with compo and CMCs and me, Franky and other long termers can sit back and reap the rewards.

I feel for traders - I tried it for 6 months in 2000 - I would be very grey now if I had kept it up!!!!

The high volume of market data we're seeing and being sent is causing problems elsewhere on the website. Share Chat being turned off is to minimise the on-site issues for members and to keep live data running so people can still trade. The fix we're looking to implement is close to being finished, to prevent the website from having issues when we see a large increase in trade data. We can only give our apologies and say we're doing everything we can as quickly as we can to get it fully resolved.

A CFO is the eyes of a company. Nayan was terrible, truly awful, but Hamish WANTED to be blind. If he had had a good CFO he would have just ignored them.

It seems like a group of you day traders ought to send in a complaint to the FCA and use a CMC company to claim compo from the platforms : )
Take some of the flack from the CMCs towards Amigo as well : )

Priv - we have all known Nayan is off so I kind of get the feeling approaches will already have been made and a "turnover" will take place the week before he leaves - I hope!!!!

Mark - you know what to do - ride out the storm and keep what you have i nthe expectation that the shares will rise in due course OR sell everything and whack the wad all in on Amigo : ) We all know what is going to happen there : )
