I've just been on the Metro BB and asked the question - there aren't many people on but 1 said he didn't think Metro had the money - then he continued with a weird fantasy chat up with someone called Marie - TOOOO WEIRD!!!

I hope JB doesn't have to isolate for 2 weeks like me on his return rom hols - It's a right pain!!!!!

Fellas - do you think Metrobank would want to buy Amigo when there are so many questions to answer over compliance and compensation claims to anyone who writes a letter to them saying " I'm a bit upset boo hoo hoo"!!!!!!!!!

I think Amigo is a stand alone company who wants to make it's own way again with it's new BoD chomping at the bit to make it a success!!!

Mark - mmmm - never thought of a takeover bid!!!!!! This time last year DTG were £19.50 a share and now about £7.20s. I too have had a refund for flights down to Nice - gotta love the Cote D'Azur : ) - and I didn't even have to ask for it. It just landed back on my credit card!!!
I know they are getting a very favourable reputation for looking after the clients - which is ironic cos we Yorkshire folk have a reputation to keep up!!!!!!!!!!!

At 12.02 Mark mentioned airlines as a possible investment in the futuure. As a Leeds lad, I am a big fan of DTG, (Jet 2).

They have sold Fowler Welch recently for £98m and have raised £176m recently so there's money in the bank to ride this storm out and they are trying - not as hard as Ryanair - but they are trying to get flying again. Where other airlines are struggling I think this tidy little short/medium haul business will nick routes off other airlines and will grow quicker than anyone else in this sector.

Anyone know anything else about this company????

Seems like H and itsagame were on the pop last night and feeling very philosophical and passionate about their beliefs - which I share. I will say this again - TO DATE, I have not lost on a share and I don't intend to start now. Patience is the key word. the new BoD are going to need a little time to untangle the issues the old board created, but you can't help but feel it's good news all the way from now on!!!

Nickel-investor likes AML and they have done well ish over the last 2 days.

Im at 13p avg with AMGO and I also hold Jet 2 and HYVE which won't do anything major until next year. Covid has given us this opportunity but the sooner it's sorted and shares rise the better for me : )

Craigy - I came back from Tenerife last Sunday so I'm in isolation thanks to Boris and his crackpot ideas!!!!! The wife has a face like a naughty school kid who has been grounded since we got home. She likes to be out and about!!!!
