Can someone tell me why Largo Resources is up 18 % ? Being shorted by same organisations shorting BMN ? And they are closing positions on both? Some coincidence both BMN and Largo rally to a large degree same day
a good 2018 financials RNS, along with dividend policy....and 40p could be reached next week. anyone with open shorts needs to close them quickly
is this the scramble to close the shorts.....?
Sanchez. I own 3.4 million shares. average purchase price 9p. anything over an SP of 9p is a bonus for me ;-)
I've no idea how a company is valued. if we are due a 2018 profit of £40million, how does a company mcap get determined from this. Obviously if a company produces a,profit EBITBA of say £40million, then the company mcap is some multiple of this. obviously it's not 1 multiple (mcap = 1 year EBITBA), but is it 2 times , 3 times, 5 times, 10 times EBITBA ? Also, I assume year on year profit growth is a factor. anyone any idea as to what BMN should be valued assuming the 2017 EBITBA, 2018 EBITBA (estimate)..... and excluding Vanchem, Mokopane, Brits etc... Just based on Vametco
2018 financials now out by end of May........not June. imminent news flow might cause some of the.shorters to close......before the inevitable rally in SP
remind me how much estimated profit BMN will make 2018 ?
thanks, hopefully 2018 financials show fantastic growth from 2017, then July we get Q2 production figures out. Mokopane Q3, Q4.
is there a date by which 2018 financials must be declared. is it end June 2019?
SOTR.....take a look at the 2 previous V spikes during 2000s. very fast rise......and fast falls. V is notoriously volatile. investors here need to be in for 5 years +. this is not a quick get in, get out
BMN need FM and BE need Mikhail to develop the business. if China owners took over, they would not know the SOuth Africa business, markets, connections. China could be a future owner .....but further down the road when its a all established
where do CellCube consider their main market to reside ? Australia ? any interest in African countries ? (competition)
Alfa, enjoy Munich. Beautiful city. I am there this weekend for pleasure. I lived there for 11 years.
bonscott. I hold 3.4 million shares. why don't I sell? I look at probability statistics. next 5 years...... 1) probably SP will be lower than today .. less than 50%. 2) probablilty SP will be higher than today ... higher than 50%. Hence I stick with it.
ukstevrg......you must be well aware during 2018, there were posters on this BB calling £1 by Xmas Dec 2018. don't have posts at hand, but regular users on this BB won't be able to deny such prices were tipped on here.........
Sanchez & 'Coz....you have all jumped in before I telly anecdote of the SOLG journey from 2016 to today....... SP 14p....... 1.8p........46p........20p........42p all in 5 years. It's why having 3.4million shares in BMN as Long term holder does not concern me. The only people affected are those who need to cash in as they entered for only the short term and need to get out for whatever cash purposes they need to settle elsewhere etc. if you are here for 5 years. sit back, and watch the spikes up and down
calamari, I was being a,little pessimistic deliberately, I am sure over them next 5 years we will see ups, spikes, and more slumps .. just opportunities for people to enter, exit, build up more shareholding......... I look back at SOLG.....2014 I was in at14p....... it slumped by 2016 to 1.8p...... 8 months later it was 46p......... 12 months later.......dowm at 20p by August 2018........ this week it touched 42p ........ all along solg fundamentals are solid and 1 day will be bought out
Very clear that the SP does not reflect true value. But, I am sure 5 years from now we will be past 40p again. It's a matter for those on paper losses, are you prepared to be tied in for considerable time?
I am sure this 6 million share shorting disclosure is just 1 of several (the others not yet across the disclosure threshold). organisations behind a short attack will work together to get most impact and avalanche effect. once it's known 'BMN is the "share to short" , others will have been doing the same. So, we know it's a major short attack....... and we know such attacks have to be closed
6 million shares short does not seem a lot......... that alone has not caused the SP drop surely ??
