Airline stocks suffered as oil prices rose, however. Easyjet fell 3.7 percent and British Airways-owner IAG shed 2.5 percent on the main index. Wizz Air lost 3.4 percent on the mid-cap index.
Look the travel industry is very mixed atm. Various airline gone into administration and some been sold for one penny.
And news yesterday confirmed that many holiday makers are planning to stay here in lovely Britain for their holiday.
