I agree PD , the final decision isn't until 2029 ,so the actual building of the SMRs won't start until the early '30s.

The decision for the final 2 candidates was due to be announced in June , which I guess it will now pushed back until August.

Maybe they should RR into two separate entities.

RR Aero which handles the Jets engines .

And

RR Energy which handles the nuclear side of things.

RR Energy should be traded on the Nasdaq.

As an incentive current holders of RR should get a free share in RR Energy for every 4 shares they currently hold (a 4:1 share split)

Forgot about the AGM, you should be looking forward to the RR half year results (due in August) I think they'll be good also the election will be held on 4th July which will help as the market hates uncertainty. My prediction is £5.50 after the RR half year results in August

It's only a decision in principle it's been issued to the other suppliers of SMR as well, it's normal for a government to issue them as part of the bidding process.

I don't mean to p155 on the parade but this is only a "decision in principle" . If you read through the whole article you'll see Poland has also issued "decision in principle to other SMR suppliers. I have pasted:

Poland's Ministry of Climate and Environment issued a decision-in-principle in July last year on copper and silver producer KGHM Polska Miedź SA's plan to construct a NuScale VOYGR modular nuclear power plant with a capacity of 462 MWe consisting of six modules, each with a capacity of 77 MWe.

In December, the ministry issued decisions-in-principle to Orlen Synthos Green Energy for the construction of power plants based on GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy's BWRX-300 SMR at six locations. A total of 24 BWRX-300 reactors are planned at the sites.

The ministry has also issued decisions-in-principle for the construction of two large nuclear power plants: one for a 3750 MWe plant in Pomerania using Westinghouse's AP1000 technology, the other for a plant comprising two South Korean-supplied APR1400 reactors in the Patnów-Konin region.
