Proud to celebrate a major milestone with our team at Seeing Machines
From concept to reality—true 0-to-1 innovation. We've delivered a cutting-edge, AI-powered Integrated Mirror product for OMS, built on years of R&D in computer vision, generative AI, network compression, embedded AI, and optics. This was one of the most technically challenging projects I have had the privilege to work on.
Huge thanks to our incredible team at Seeing Machines for their resilience and relentless commitment to quality. And a special thank you to our partners, Volkswagen Group and Magna International, for trusting us to help bring this engineering breakthrough to life.

Here is the key takeaway for me from the Volkswagen Group presentation by Pedro Almeida here at #incabin. Putting #DMS #OMS into the mirror as a single optical path solution leads to about a 30% cost saving compared to a dual optical path approach using two separate imager modules. We’ve never seen that statistic in public before and it comes straight from VW. Where VW leads we can expect other OEMs to follow so this is the start of a key trend. VW was incredibly brave to approach this solution this way. Kudos to tier 1 Magna International and tier 2 Seeing Machines for bringing this solution to market with VW. What a great start to InCabin.
**update** VW will go to SoP with this solution in both ICE and EV models. It is a fully packaged product requiring only moderate changes to the wiring loom. That is a major differentiator.
