dspp : I was just about to say the exact same thing......yep
Thank you all for your kind words . Having come closer to my demise than ever before the other day makes me realise that some things are not worth worrying about. However my good name IS worth worrying about and I take huge exception to Nigwits completely unfounded accusations. The thought that a group of adults would get together like a bunch of school children to decide on a coordinated posting campaign is laughable. I have never denied being on another board and given the completely non sinister nature of it am more than happy to say I do. I think you have issues nigwit I honestly do.
I haven't been posting recently as I have been in Tulle hospital since Monday with 6 broken ribs and a damaged lung. I will however make the painful effort to tap my phone keyboard to state what a complete and utter pack of lies Nigwit has come out with. We absolutely do not " conspire " to make certain posts on this board and Im pretty sure that anyone who knows me would not expect that of me. It is a friendly small board which is troll free where in the main HUR is discussed along with 50% off topic conversation. I would certainly allow any authority to look at my posts on there without fear of any come back. Infact when they did and found absolutely nothing I would be very tempted to sue you sir for defamation. Please go ahead.
daltry / wulbert.........well done chaps :). We're all in this boat together after all. Good weekend everyone !
ha ha ha
I sincerely hope that there will be a buyer but at least one big fish has made it known they are going to " wait and see ". Only way to show them is to produce and prove . I concur that they don't want to become a major per se but its a bit of a Mexican standoff for now. Depends on who blinks first .
IJWT .......apologies, bad paraphrasing by myself . I get your gist .
IJWT........I must qualify.......I think you " have a point " with regards Trice's distain for the corporate world but not so sure he hates us share holders if you were meaning that .....apologies if you were not .
anyway we're going up a bit now so maybe no need to book a slot at the " vide grenier " this weekend !
ned .......they/he is being forced into being a production company. He can't just stand still if no buyers ;the authorities won't let him.
You may have a point IJWT , you may just have a point.
On the other hand maybe they don't want to make too much of " good news " as all it does is drop the effing sp !! Sorry but this is getting farcical .
Good point extrader ..I too noticed the lack of " selling " the news . Personally ,in my humble opinion , I feel that Trice is a no nonsense pragmatist who in the main just says it as it is by nature. In the past he's been compelled to " sell " the story to garner support . Just my take.
AD.......PM
tell you what Joe ..... I wish this was an M&S sp.......hand picked and smothered in chocolate .......would be better than what it is smothered in....
M&S I would guess cebo......Dr T doesn't seem the flashy designer sort .....although BOSS would be appropriate !
cheers Bloo......quite positive all in all. Ive said often that $70 oil is the sweet spot as we are highly profitable at that and most oilers would settle for it........any more and the Trumps of this world start getting uppity . As for M&A well it's got to be good news if the numbers are sensible. Don't mind admitting that Im pretty fed up with our sp performance, just gets the hell traded out of any strength. I actuall bought another £9k worth as I felt there was a build going on....couldn't buy for ages until it peaked of course then down she went ......should have had a word with the camel but not seen him since Tuesday. GLA. snail
"plenty of reasons to be sceptical' which apparently boil down to Dr T started HUR in a shed and 'we've never done things this way' in the UK "
What ? She's either too young or lacking in historical knowledge enough to know that starting things in a shed is precisely how things were done in this country when it was great !
I don't drink loads of beer these days preferring wine.....however I love a pint of Shropshire Gold in my local despite living in South Cheshire around a couple of miles from tge Shropshire and Staffordshire borders. Anyway had a smashing couple of days with ADUK in Niort......he's a great " tour guide" and drinking partner....Im currently back in my hotel with a Nikka nightcap........cheers AD and your very good health !
Good point Millais.......a faint bell is ringing about DR T saying he wanted to get the eps underway before going for a main listing . May have dreamt that so stand to be corrected !
