I too sincerely hope that the ship is for our ore and it probably is. However I once (in a different life!) spent 3 months on a cargo ship anchored off a beach just outside Lagos "sitting out at sea!" I think the wrong official may have been bribed. We finally docked in Apapa which is only one consonant different from Amapa. Don't tell me certain!! : )

Co-incidentally I speak French like a native, (of Manchester!). I remember thanking a French waitress for my coffee once saying " merci beaucoup." Unfortunately due my lousy pronunciation, what I actually said was "merci beau cul," which means "thankyou nice arse." Luckliy she had a sense of humour, quite unusual when it comes to the French and their language. Incidentally what I said was true anyway!
