I think it's good news. We don't know whether he was referring to patients who have been recruited or only those who have already completed the treatment. The important bit is that it's going to take off in the US, and their hospitalisation numbers aren't going down any time soon. (Which is bad news in itself but positive for the study.)

Mutations, new variants, their resistance to specifically tuned treatments and vaccines: all that was sooooo predictable several months ago. How can BoJo, Handjob and other idiots up there sit still with the knowledge that there is an effective treatment for this virus? Okay, it doesn't come from an upmarket town - Oxford, Pompousford, Privilegeford or Palford - but surely it's worth giving it the go-ahead to save lives, even if it makes the Tories' vaccination targets a bit less relevant?

You must be using a different type of maths: 70% of 140p is 98p, so we' d have to be at 42p now to be 70% down from 140p.

Relax and hodl. BTC is finding a new support level at $34000. Remember that it was a strong resistance level last week; once it's become a support level, we'll move up quickly.

I think the sluggishness if the SP is due to all the day traders having gone away to buy silver this morning. They'll be back later.
