Hi all.
As its that time of year when some of us are more likely to reflect on our lives and our decisions, I just want to say thanks to the polite contributions made to this discussion board over the years.
Im a long term holder and have never understood the huge valuation disparity with AGL's peers in the US. Many of us have held AGL through the Theranos rise and fall, Grail's excitement, and the others. Through experience and empirical evidence, I have seen in the main, that companies trading on a large discount to their peers, do so for a good reason. It has been reassuring that between us we have investigated what is out there and together (at least those who have contributed) still not really found reason to give up on AGL despite the sp having not provided a net positive return from the spike up in 2011. I do suppose that the Market Cap must be close to record highs, which is an increased supportive vote of confidence in the company I guess.
My original dream upon coming across liquid biopsies, remains, that one day we'll be able to get a form of MOT for each of us where Cancer can be found as early as possible, and then treated appropriately, saving many people, and saving so much money to the healthcare system.
Anyway, apologies for my lack of contribution to the discussion over the years. I find discussion boards can be quite aggressive at times and very closed to weighing up pros and cons. I think schools are teaching our kids to defend doggedly an opinion in debate but not to listen and be open to learn from others very well.
However, this board has been one where it has been a valuable read over the years.
Best wishes to everyone. Enjoy the holiday weekend, all who rest, work and play.
