I was looking at the volume of our equity.

Volumes still c20m, shows great interest in my opinion way above the the handful of millions on idling days.

Lee in general , I would agree with you but today the spread has been bang on 3.448% most of the day. The absence of number and volume of unknown buys would tend to suggest the figures are not far off to warrant the drop.

In saying that however, every seller has a buyer and someone is loading up and happy at these sort of prices.

Actually, the volume is about 2x the daily average and still holding up nicely c20m mark, so that in itself is a positive. Compare that to the heady 50m+days last week. We are usually lucky to manage about 10M per day.
