Ross some sort of update may happen this week. I hate to admit it but I agree with you on this. A quarterly update is essential so we can at least see we are holding our own production targets coupled with cash in bank. It is a disturbing change of tac imo.

Fred I live on the NYork moors...Lockwood site just down the road. My avg is 28p. Yes I'm a bit peeved with the current situation but I have the advantage of seeing the progress of the build and I'm confident I should double my money and if we have a fair wind maybe more by production....triple would have been nice but hey ho that will do for a start...

EXCLUSIVE: The London-listed Yorkshire potash miner Sirius Minerals will announce a £400m equity placing tomorrow alongside a $3bn debt package provided by JP Morgan to help deliver the UK’s biggest new mining project for a generation.

“If all goes to plan, Sirius’s US$3.4-3.6bn stage 2 financing will be successfully completed over the coming weeks,” said Shore Capital’s Yuen Low in a recent note to clients.

“We expect this seminal achievement to catalyse a major re-rating of the shares.”

Low thinks the financing will spur the Sirius share price onto the 50p level, while Liberum’s mining analyst Ben Davis is looking for somewhere between 45p and 60p post-funding.

Either way, both are forecasting a sharp rise in the FTSE 250 group’s share price, which currently sits at just above 20p.
