The longer it takes to announce funding, the more I am inclined to think that something is going on which could end this endless sojourn.

Scott delivering Add!? The only thing he has consistently delivered is destruction of our SP. Look at the excitement the rise in the SP caused yesterday. It is clearly at the root of investors sentiments. Equally, when the SP falls, doom and gloom pervades the BB.

We have confusion. We have had delays. I think Scott's new name is the Fat Controller 😆

Commitment to invest by whom? The RNS didn't actually state that solg would be making the investment. Folks just inferred that it would be Solg. I agree with you that clarity is required.

Add, I will say that Scott is doing a great job when the SP is back to where it was when he took over. I can't bring myself to praise the man who overseen the decimation of the SP. I want to have the option to at least get my money back.

I will say however that things have started to move in the right direction.

Add, I will hold off celebrating until the SP reflects this new found optimism. Solg SP has a habit of ending red irrespective of good news.

I hear you HH. However, one cannot deny that a high SP would blow away doom and gloom from investors minds. Just look at the excitement here in December when the SP perked up! Lord Braggart was beside himself with glee and was waxing poetically.

I am caught between a rock(Add) and a hard place(Quady). Sale vs Production. This rns gives the impression of turn key activities in support of a sale, while at the same time giving the impression that Solg is gearing up for production. Both cannot be true. If solg cannot find a buyer, then the only other alternative would be to go to production. The lower cost phased plan now makes that possible. So, I would agree with Quady in that regard. However, the BOD won't totally reject an offer if one comes along in favour of continuing to production. Interesting times.

Add, if one regard the SP performance of a company as a measure of a CEO's effectiveness, then SC has failed his performance appraisal.

More importantly, how will the market react to this rns? I fear that it will not move the SP dial in the direction we would want to see.

A visit his mining minister could have attended without him, and of course the lack of any news on funding. Warren did say all along that the Chinese are the best bet for taking out solg. Well, I hope that they get a wiggle on.

My March to March Prediction proved correct once again!

Last year March, and the March before that, I predicted that nowt would have changed here while the zealots were predicting that the world's greatest would finally come through with the funding. Exactly as I predicted. No funding. I was wrong on 1 thing though. Something has changed from a year a go, the SP is 49.5% lower!

Dare I say it? Come March 2025, nowt will have changed here. No plant, no shipment. Just the world's greatest jetting around going from one bash to the next!

But I had to put that out there since FQM will need to find alternatives to Panama. I am also trying to figure out why a president who has cartels to duff up would be taking time out to attend a mining bash when he has more important things to do? His minister of mines could have attended in his place. Something is up for sure.

And there was me thinking that Nobby will be in Canada to participate in the signing of the deal where First Quantum bought Solg!

No Add, I am sure that funding is paramount in the minds of the BOD. I am however just puzzled that they appear to be leaving it to the last minute.

I think it is safe to say that folks are no longer outraged when I predict that we will still be here for the 2024 agm!

I am curious why funding has not been addressed given the backlash which DC received for his late funding fiasco.

I reiterate, Bob described DC as a moron for the way he left funding to the last minute, and for the way he handled funding disclosure. We know that we only have enough funds to last until June. Hence, I cannot see Solg repeating DC's mistake by leaving funding to the last minute once again. Hence, we will either have funding news shortly, or something more critical is going on in the background which will remove the need for additional funding. Funding, if it is going to be raised, need to be resolved within the next 2 months imo.

DBW, Maxit labelled DC a moron for the way he handled the previous funding issue. Hence, I can't see them sorting out funding at the last minute now. Something is definitely going on, otherwise funding would have been sorted by already.

We saw what happened when DC left raising funds to the last minute. Hence, I would have thought that lessons were learnt and that funding will be sorted out in good time. Hence, the longer we don't see a funding rns, the more likely that it might not be needed due to pending corporate action?

I am relieved to see the phased plan, and the ball is now in the court of potential buyers. I think Scott (Note I didn't say The Rocks Caldwell 🤔) has done well to get the plan out in time to calm nerves and show the rabbit to the hounds. I am happy to hold and watch events as they unfold now. Short of solg giving the company away, all we can do now is wait for a buyer, assuming they haven't already got one feeling the wares and tasting the free samples😀

Well, I am pleased to see the phased plan published within the Q1 time line. I was wrong to predict another 2 quarters delay. Our stall has now been completely laid out, and it's now up to punters to buy the wares.

All that is required now is funding to keep us going until someone bites.
