StanleyB You’re right about this shower in Government but hopefully a well run company will tighten its belt and weather the storm until we reach some normality. As for rising employment and energy ? This would affect every large Business across the board and certainly any business where being competitive counts. ,The list goes on!! I think Greggs are in a better position than most selling tasty products at a tasty price.. The penny will eventually drop when there’s massive unemployment and they’re having to pay more out of the coffers to pay benefits with far less tax revenue!! . Trimming the bloated public sector, including the NHS, civil service, disability and pip payments should be their first port of call. Oh and get rid of the unions!!

You’re 100% sour grapes. Maybe others don’t have the secret ingredient that makes the Greggs sausage rolls so popular. Im sure customers have tried elsewhere but come back to where they belong!! 😁Or just maybe competitors are using marketing ploys to ensure they get a look in? You never know. This is a fantastic company selling fabulous pasties, steak bakes, sausage rolls. As for our country? It isn’t any more!!! Let’s try to keep a hold of some of our great traditional foods. They will always sell despite fads!!! Now talking of high calories?? I don’t see the queues going down at fast food outlets and Deliveroo n Just Eat are seemingly doing good trade. Scaremongering!!!
