Britain's leading independent supplier of cement, aggregates and concrete, Hope Construction Materials has awarded us a six-year contract renewal to remain their supplier of choice for the provision of bulk and bagged cement road logistics. Under the agreement, we will be responsible for delivering just short of a million tonnes per year with a national delivery profile of over 600 road journeys a week . The new contract involves the renewal of the existing bulk agreement, with the addition of warehouse and bagged cement transport services from Hope's flagship Dagenham facility, due to open this summer. Hope's Chief Operating Officer Mike Cowell commented: "Our long-standing partnership with Wincanton has seen our customer service levels go from strength-to-strength . With the imminent launch of our bagged product, Wincanton's expertise will be even more important, helping us to get our products to market on time and in the most efficient way possible to ensure that we can continue this level of service to our customers." "Great renewal"

Results in 2 weeks time. That's when the share price will start to climb. GLA
Agree with the big sell follows the big buys but there's nothing yet today. Great news on continuous improvement recruitment but this is simply back filling for the recent structural change has seen that position become available. This business has had a improvement program underway for at least 3 years now and I am confident that the next 2 years will reap the rewards of all's improved ops and solutions. ive got the time to sit and watch this grow, no rush and not pinning any hopes on big buys, been in this game to long now to get excited.
Someone knows something 2 buys at 1.2 million
All, I've read the different posts and my view is your talking sense but these are day to day run of the mill business issues, British sugar may be additional work due to suttons pulling out but at the same time I am sure there is a dedicated team trying to secure it as there is throughout Wincanton on all sectors everyday. This company has a great deal of dedicated staff and they are all focused on the growth and strategy, let's talk that way, especially if we want to support, that's not telling people what to say or their wrong for sharing their thoughts but I am an investor, as I'm sure you are so let's stay positive, new system upgrades on their way, new customer announcements in the pipeline, debt reducing ahead of schedule and fingers crossed a dividend to encourage the big boys to buy in. Results are 3 weeks away. Here's to +£2.00 a share by September, if not before. GLA ps I don't think any negative comments here will have an impact on share price at all.
Well done, I'm s LTH here and a good day for me on Sound Energy. DYOR Good luck SS
I bet you are SS. Steady climb today and tomorrow to finish the week off on a high and then watch this space. Onwards and upwards. Well done SS good buy. New revalue by the brokers on its way
Great RNS Adrian. Debt down down down and can't wait for the 9th June. Great buy at £1.50. Good news coming.
All I would say is watch this space this company needs more time to complete its transformation and deliver a stronger business position with reduced debt. CEO believes this senior team is the one for the future and is one of Long term employees. The fact those leaving where the key drivers in the business some months ago speaks volumes of those individuals and demonstrates the business has the right people on board. JMO. GLA
Grasi - managers have left due to retirement and restructure which will assist in taking the business forward. The sale of WRM should drive down the debt position and all being well I'm hoping for a dividend announcement which I believe will bring investment. I'm a LTH here and have the faith. DYOR
Grasi not a clue. Whether the market in bring managed down by the city of there is negative news to deliver I'm not sure but I do believe Wincanton are going places. The post re property alone saves millions to the bottom line and hopefully a healthy pipeline of new new business is what's referred to as strategic property / customer growth. I can't see this dropping to the lowest lows (35p) ever again but if it goes to £1.20 I will add to my private portfolio.
£1.20 is the time to top up.
Well said bluesky. Couldn't have put it better myself. Come on Wincanyon
