Thanks Toro. I was astounded to read somewhere (Doug Casey in fact) that somebody looked out of the window in 1905 and saw 1 motor vehicle and all the rest horse in a large US city. The 10 years later, it was 10% HORSES AND 90% cars! Point being, things can change rapidly in 10 years, LOL! Same CAN and WILL happen now, imho!

Then the question of 1-1-8. Anybody read about these NEW state of the art batteries? Where-as a conventional (TESLA) car can travel about 380 miles or so, these new 1-1-8 battery designs can do 700 miles! Elon Musk may be in trouble with his batteries then? It is apparently Nickel SO4 alterations on the Cathodes of these batteries. Please read for yourself, I am just a humble professional dabbling here! LOL! Still LITHIUM batteries but other substances in these batteries are a little cobalt and Manganese ( ASSORE export this from the port I grew up in!)

On PAF, I worry about the political situation. The national debt is staggering, the ineptitude of the governing party now caught out with corruption, state capture and all that worked before, broken or bankrupt - and I mean SOE's. So let's see if CR can fix anything? The new voters who are "younger and connected" (to the media) may not forgive the anc for their poor future fortune's to get jobs as this economy is stagnant etc...
Sorry to labour this but, the point is that before whole sale nationalisation becomes a real option, the anc powers may have diminished - to leave PAF alone. Let's hope it's not the lefties in power next, LOL! Because that will be real broke and we must be long out having made a penny on a profitable share. On the condition of course that the POG goes UP! Obviously, the Rand will weaken with lack of confidence.

Best performing small gold mining company in Africa to invest in seems to be ACA (Acacia). Part of the Barrick Gold and Randgold stable and hopefully there they can come to some lasting agreement with the Tanzanian govt over their VAT and gold smelting issues. Been rising steadily daily for the last few months! Actually, that would help Shanta gold as well!
