I dont really share the optimism of this boards posters. i think the expansion plans are schlerotic and bad. we could really hit the expansion and get that number up by 2030... doubling in a decade when we could be a global brand is kinda trash, i feel that the board itself are not equipped to make hollybowl anything more than a regional fancy, since you really could cut the div and push on to being a global brand. I feel that the companies taking bowling companies private understand this and will acheive dominance that will crush our margins in the end.

What are you guys hoping for in the next earnings? Personally I would rather see the buyback expanded vs dividend increased, although with considerable shares destroyed we should in theory get a dividend increase just by staying still.

Valuations have plummeted, nobody is paying a fortune for unprofitable tech anymore, Felix bought at the height of the market and over paid. That is it, it’s not fatal to us but ir sucks, a lot of people said it was a bad deal at the time and that was my feeling but others liked it, it looks a lot worse with hindsight but only with hindsight. It is what it is.

It’s not like that, it’s that we forget our stock gets moved with the market good or bad, the short term effect of a oil price up a day usually gets ignored by the market completely to focus on how the wider market is doing… ftse up or down has a bigger effect than a day oil price..

Our service crashed during the Powell speecc and trades couldn’t be completed this is bad, maybe not for share price but I don’t want it happening again.

I sold mine today at 741.. I think that is where it should be but I don’t see it keeping that.. I will buy back in lower if I get the chance but I am closing out a 28% (without dividend inc) gain.

I don’t think it is the perfect time to buy tbh… not for any of what we are debating ect..
Just think with rate hikes on the way and here U.K. the market is gonna be quite ugly going forward… i think we go lower because of it, we still benefit from it but meh.

I had a look at tasty trade on Twitter, they have 59k followers.. which is incredibly small but ok financial is nice… video views is 444.. which is absolutely abysmal.
