I agree moniman, my theory is, Greggs isn’t a staple but it’s not a luxury either, I wouldn’t class it as a treat, it’s easy affordable grub, my take is if people can’t afford Greggs then the share price is the least of our worries because we will be fked.

However we do have 23k employees, if we only reopen half (massive worst case) we get 11mil NI break for end of the year

With such great competition in the banking sector and a government willing to use the financial sector as NGO, well probably never see decent banking profits, because of the BoEs flagrant disregard of base rate, the banks are just a utility to get cheap loans out for the govt. the amount of which we need to make any profit is ridiculous... Lloyd’s should move into zero rate saving accounts immeadialty and move only for safe loans... the only lenders making cash are like rate setter and corporate bonds... the retail mortgage market is junk for us.
No money here till sensible comes back.
