I think we need to be careful about spreading misinformation. I was present at the AGM and that is not exactly what was said. They are in talks with government trying to get a substantial grant, applied in December and were asked to re-submit with 4 additional points to cover/amendments. Re-submitted and are now waiting for a response (which might be approval) which could be imminent. As you would expect everything to do with gov is painfully slow. Nothing to stop gov asking for another 4 things to be added. Other concerns on this are potential changes in personnel and gov summer recess scheduled to begin mid-late July. But fingers crossed. Not in any way guaranteed.

MajorOak, I think you mistake my light-hearted jokey comment as a personal dig! I have a significant portion of my portfolio allocated to ALK and have been topping up for a year+, so I will be joining you in having the last laugh against the fudsters. What confuses me is if (as you say there is) so much attention on this from the US, then why is the share price not reacting accordingly. We know it doesn't take much to move the price!
