Rainbow Rare Earths Phalaborwa project shaping up to be one of the lowest cost producers globally. Watch the video here.
Tiburn - excellent post and it confused me why the RNS was short - no commercial quantities of oil vs some of the comments from Potter... it made no sense as I doubt even Potter would use the term proud on what on the face of it was the worst possible outcome? Or was it??
It’s a small glimmer of hope and yes bashers we are allowed to feel that way but perhaps more is taking place which will become apparent in the next few weeks? We shall see....
Ok to repost your comment?
Younny - good post - wonder what tomorrow will bring.?
StarChild as I just said to CCR via ADVFN - the only hope - and it is hope, is this... 12.5m in the bank to square off P1 costs and drill S2?
As at commencement of abandonment of Perseverance #1, the Company's cash balance is $12.5 million. These funds held will be applied toward satisfying final payments relating to Perseverance #1 as the drilling programme is concluded, progressing the Company's work programs in Trinidad and Tobago and Suriname over coming months, and general working capital purposes.
News out.... hmmmmmm
No one outside the company know if it’s a duster you clowns - if you were invested then you will know LO had shares to dispose of as per their comments recently and their holdings RNS....
It a tight hole... LO are selling - what’s the betting they will be out by next week???
Good riddance I say ... but ffs chill out or like LO get out!!!
Sorry all duplicate post??!! This bloody site appears to stall - just when you least expect it!!!
Harry I agree with what you say ref LO - however my beef is summed up by StarChild in his post on the topic below;
For the record, I have no issue if LO decided to pull out of oil investments. But totally object how they handled the matter at such an important time for the company. They should have waited until after the spud result. It's similar to a lawyer dropping their client in the middle of an important commercial court case involving a jury.
In a nutshell LO should have kept their gobs shut....
Harry correct in your post re LO although like StarChild my beef is summed up in SC post earlier...

Im sure you agree - they should have kept their gobs shut...
YourNameHere. Thank you but just to be clear I’m not on the edge as my average is much lower than today’s BID - I am genuinely worried that there are people behind the trolls paying them to bash and bully others - is this what the human race has become? Faceless keyboard worriers that become somehow untouchable because of their anonymity and their thinking they are safe from redress sat at home or an office?
By comparison to some I’m new to these boards and am shocked at some of the BS posted - by both sides of an argument - I ask bashers and rampers - would you be so manipulative if these boards were regulated or better still would you speak to another human in the same tone? I worry for both the perpetrators and future generations as it’s rife everywhere... I guess because this is a financial arena I expected some degree of constraint but there is none to the point where even I am guilty of falling into the same mode as others which is sad as I was brought up to be much better.
I guess as I say in my post I’ve got some negative points to consider when investing but for me the positives outweigh the risk...
With Safron2 spud - yes it will IMO - Krapper asks when not because of interest but to wallow in glory if the date slips - such is the bashers desperation... they are running out of ideas...
Anyway thanks for the message and hope your investment works out for you and the rest that have put their money where their mouth is!
Krapper I’m not here for you to feed off and yet you still keep bleeting the same drivel... I’ve told you I never give specifics as like let alone investing is not like that... are you think or just stupid? Neither - it’s worse than that ...... you are both... bless
Safron2 will spud - when was covered in an RNS. If a change of tack has happened then it will be out of my control but does it bother me - no as it will spud...
You think differently - fine but don’t confuse your opinion as gospel as not for the first time you have been proven wrong.. you see like FatSi - sorry typo BigSi you are quick to throw manure at peoples choice of investment from first the safety of your bedsit and second by having no financial position either way - why is that Krapper? Surely if you were so confident in what you peddle then you will have opened up a short? But no.... a coward both in person and investing... quite how anyone takes you seriously would be worrying as your credibility is shot to pieces... so why are you here Krapper - was your childhood so damaging that you feel the need to behave they way you do?
I’d say grow a pair of balls but that would shatter your persona of masquerading as a woman....
I wonder if you would be so condescending to people in person.... I very much doubt it as the fear of eating through a straw for a few weeks would put you back in that box you escaped from...
Time for you to become my second filtered ******...
Toodlepip x
Harry with POO where it is and production last from Trinidad at 500bopd with the government also adjusting the trigger point any tax is available makes the merger attractive to BPC.
For CERP holders meant that we have a possible funding path for the SWP which could boost production significantly.
If that happens it opens up investment in other projects across the portfolio for both merged entities.... in my humble opinion...
If P1 comes in will be interesting if we go it alone, farm out or sell it....
Lol Prozac - only half a post there as you conveniently omitted the positive reasons for a drill to take longer - but then according to your ex Mrs you always were a half a story kinda guy!
So it’s fair to say that Leo Koot is not banking in a loss to offset elsewhere....
Any losses made on your investments in your Stocks and shares ISAs can’t be used to offset capital gains on your other investments.
Sorry Pappalazz missed an all important z within my last post!!!
Pappalaz and the rest of you debating Tax impacts to gains in a shares Isa..., it’s as I thought below - from the Money Advice Service... can we move on now ffs!
Tax
Investments that pay interest (e.g. government and corporate bonds), or rental income (such as some property funds) provide 100% tax-free income if held within an ISA and therefore offer tax benefits for everyone.
As of April 2018, all individuals are eligible for a £2,000 tax-free Dividend Allowance. The dividend allowance is in addition to your personal allowance, which is the amount you can earn each tax year before you have to start paying tax.
Dividends received by pension funds or received on shares within an ISA will remain tax free and won’t impact your dividend allowance.
Also, any profit you make when selling investments in your Stocks and shares ISA is free of Capital Gains Tax.
Any losses made on your investments in your Stocks and shares ISAs can’t be used to offset capital gains on your other investments.
BigSi - I suspect the big is not a pretty sight... anyway I digress - What I will say it’s nice for you and your goons to needle from the outside but perhaps if you had balls to actually invest be it hold or short depending how you see it going then you would understand why some get giddy... but until you and your kind grow a pair by putting your money where your gob is - how can anything you or your fellow pond like here or on ADVFN, post be taken seriously?
IceMax - sadly the bashers have LO in their corner but some posters here don’t help themselves with the BS they post... speculation is one thing but we must be realistic and base investment on what we know..
For me the longer IM stays on top of the drill the better as we are now entering deeper territory and my point is why bother with deeper plays - could be they have adopted the **** or bust attitude but I doubt they would with other projects to spend the money on so I do see this as a tentative positive step..
We shall see...
Ptrotter any close above 2.4/2.5p would be a good sign that LO have buggered off... we shall see!
Ladies and gents - no one saying we have oil we just all hope we have! There is a subtle difference between wishful thinking and fact so we really need to keep our feet on the ground!!!
Chillllllllll
21alpha - I highly recommend this....
