Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
This is what they stated in the notes section of the ascot update. So it gives u an insight in their own assessments. The problem is that a more conservative copper price will probably be used for any buyout, therefore I can see the ore down to 0.1% being disregarded - it’s all about tte high grade element in imho and we need to finish off finding all of the ascot high grade element.
‘’’’’A cut-off grade of 0.1% CuEq has been used applying a copper price of US$8,800/t, a gold price of US$1,800/Oz and a silver price of US$24/Oz’’’’

its always been said we have tomorrows copper , not todays. this is sorth alot more than £16m
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEIwR_0S7SEJust reminding myself why I invested and looking back at this presentation from a year ago. When comparing the original open pit with the new resource it looks to me they were successful in converting waste rock into ore especially around the SW and north. This was one of their objectives of phase 2 drilling. I just can’t see this team sending off the data to a 3rd party for an economic model only to be told it doesn’t work? I think the market has got this wrong.
Just looking at the ascot final drill results and cross section diagram again. This is quite an exciting prospect with very limited drilling to date. . The body is vertical but extends over 1k and delineated into 3 zones, but the grades are really good. Surely this has been be drilled out to maximise shareholder value, unless RC comes up trumps with its near surface 0.6mt of copper. Along with the gold income, there is massive potential in this share. Compare what we have against a lot of the rubbish on the AIM. I have topped up quite a bit last week as a result.
Can’t believe this share has fallen to £16m market cap. I wish they never published the resource now and just cracked on with Phase 3. CB states this is a massive system - let’s just keep exploring unless we have a very sellable asset- that’s why I am a shareholder. Unless the model comes ups trumps I find this completely bizarre.
Know0 was telling us all its a no brainier and a guy called oiltap too! Looks like newgen will call in their loan and take the asset on the cheap.
A new exploration project hunting for iron is definitely jam tomorrow btm Sliver. I pity the poor investors money he will undoubtedly take. It’s odd for a gold company that doesn’t even have any gold. All is well for the directors though draining the last bit of cash from the company.
I once read somewhere ‘any fool can make money on the AIM but the trick to be a successful investor on the AIM is not to lose money’ KAT has nearly run out of money period, with no plan for hantei or blyvoor. This company isn’t investable and if u invest in a company with this profile 99 out of a 100 u will lose money. I made a comment on here a while ago that hantei needed a ‘discovery’ with the latest drilling and people were getting excited . Do u know what the chances of a three drill hole programme hitting a discovery hole in untested ground? Extremely low. Anyway , I hope u start to see my logic and how the risk of these companies should be viewed, considered and evaluated before parting with your hard own money. Btw, investors have also been misled on blyvoor. GLA whatever u decide.
Can’t see what all the fuss is about. Okay we have missed CB targets, but the world has changed. We have found a massive mineralised system and fired around 50 holes into it and found billions of $ of copper and gold. If this share was worth £200m I would be worried, but it’s not it’s worth £29m - bonkers/ crazy. I’m terms of risk / reward ratio , it’s has to be on of the best on the AIM. Buts it’s the AIM very one knows the game here. Let’s get Phase 3 underway and add more value. Happy to wait a little longer than try and sell something that isn’t quite there yet especially in the current market.
It’s a binary bet though conger - so most investors would never put more than punt money in.
Every stock graph I seem to look at for the last 3 months is the same. I take comfort that we don’t need a raise and now have a steady income coming in. Unless CB is going to get a great deal for BR for us , I would rather see a phase 3 drill programme. Let’s drills out ascot and add some real value. Just wish I had some spare funds. My Last top up as at 4.5p , thinking it was cheap!
