I have received a letter from FD/HSBC stating:-

"The Company will cancel trading of it's shares from the London Stock Exchange with effect from 2 June 2025."

"Trading in shares of IDS Plc. will be suspended from 16:00pm on 28 May allow completion of this event."

@ Wrongaddress. I think you should check those dates you have given and post the correct date. Rather important don't you think not to lead people astray, false info could be very costly.

My son has a Merc. company car (SUV thing) it weighs over 2 tonne. His place to mine approx 120 miles. If he does not use any of the electric gadgets he gets about 200 miles before it needs a charge. His company insists that he uses their supplied charge card at Shell chargers. The closest one to my place is a single station one, it takes an hour to charge his car if it's not already in use.

This in effect increases his return journey time by approx 25%. Assuming that he does not use the air con .

Got a letter from first Direct (HSBC) on 21 March giving details of how to vote .

If they do not hear from me by 12:00 pm on 25 June they will apply the default option 2 which is "Take no action".

Spoke to FirstDirect(HSBC) short while ago and they say they have had no information from IDS ref. a new deadline date for accept/reject the takeover offer. They require seven days notice from IDS in order to notify shareholders with them.

I take it then that no one on here knows when the deadline is except Jake777 who thinks it looks like it may be around March 25!
