JV Party: We’re back! And this our proposal!

Art: Hmm…I’m not sold, seems a little bit low if I’m honest factoring in the amount of oil we have

JV Party: Get that first well online from the frontier 1 and if the results are positive we’ll tweak some stuff

Art: No problem

Art(After CC completion): We’ve managed to get the well online and think you’ll like the new data we’ve got

JV Party: Send it over ASAP

It’s all that oil that does it for me! I bet the potential JV partner is very happy with the new information they received recently ;D

My take with a little guidance is the first CC well information was needed to enhance the position of Art in JV discussions which now we have the positive data things can move forward on that front, but I don’t think more CC wells are ‘required’ to be online before signing a deal…JV will come it’s just how much $$$$ imo.

Sub - I forgot to reply to you the other day… Work-overs from what I’m aware take about a week once started without issues but there’ll be a lag in-between the finishing and starting on different wells due to some factors regarding equipment availability from what I know.

“COPL is continuing with its Cole Creek Frontier 1 recompletion program. The second well in the program is 4-27-35n-77w. It is located approximately 0.5 miles northwest of 11-27 with the reservoir sands 230' higher in elevation. The lower Frontier 1 sand will be perforated with fifty-six feet (56') of perforations. In common with 11-27, no stimulation of the perforations is planned. Reservoir quality from wire-line logs from 4-27 well appears to be better than the reservoir perforated at 11-27. Operations will commence when services required become available.”

Looks like works on 4-27 should go smoothly once the work on that well starts… the ‘services’ should become available this week or the next I believe :)

“Arthur Millholland, President and CEO Commented: "The results from the Frontier 1 11-27 recompletion is a game changer for our Company as the defined oil-bearing reservoir currently covers a large area at Cole Creek with evidence it extends further down dip on the east flank of the anticline. These results have also confirmed our internal evaluation of the Frontier 1 after the drilling and evaluation of our 14-30 exploration well last year. All of the wells with wireline logs from the 1970's to present have similar petrophysical characteristics within our mapped trends. At Cole Creek we only have 6-7 well bores with sufficient integrity for recompletion and hydraulic fracturing. One of these wells, 12-23-35n-77w had oil flow observed at surface due to reduced mud returns during drilling of the Frontier 1 at an elevation below the "Oil Down To". We will get to it in time."

Cole Creek is an asymmetrical anticline approximately 9 miles in axial length with approximately 2,500 feet of structural/stratigraphic closure. Five known conventional oil reservoirs are present at Cole Creek: Lakota, Dakota, Frontier 2, Frontier 1 and the Shannon. COPL holds 100% WI in the Cole Creek Unit lease-hold on all rights below the Shannon. Development of the Dakota and Shannon commenced in 1937 extending to the mid 1950's. Frontier 2 development through 7 wells commenced 10 to 15 years ago.”

Should be hearing something on CC soon regarding the re-completion works…The works on the first well are finished imo and with the re-completion document for the 2nd well submitted a week ago I would expect works to be starting soon on that too…

I think Art might give us something to talk about next week :)

It was also up 10% a few days ago on little volume so I wouldn’t pay too much attention

If anyone missed this on Friday COPL filed a sundry for the 2nd well in CC ‘well 4-27’ to be re-completed for frontier-1 production…so things look to be ticking over nicely with work probably starting soon on the 2nd well.

Interesting comment on the document… “Once any solids, or fluid anomalies have been cleaned up, this well will go on pump ASAP.”

2 things to also note… I was aware that works were coming to end last week on the first well and there was only one rig doing the re-completion work.

We may be hearing something very soon…either from Art or WOGCC(It’s a requirement for them to be notified once completion is done).

I would expect an update next week, he may have wanted to release the reserves figures also but we’ll see.

Very interesting…as far as I’m aware there is only one rig doing the re-completion work so this could indicate the first well is now complete as usually after the intent form is filed work is started very shortly after

We may be getting an RNS on Monday :)

On another note…

Exxon is looking for new oil projects in the USA…have the the largest carbon capture facility based in Wyoming with pipes not too far from the FED deep…the EORI in Wyoming are actively looking for more sites for CO2 recovery and storage as there is excess capacity for utilisation…oh and did I mention Exxon have LOADS of CASH…hmmm :)

What did Art overpromise iron?

Did Art say he will notify the market early January on the JV or did he say the JV party will get back to HIM early January?
