The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hey gogsthelogs,
Speaking to Nate-Pi the other day, as they build up the buy or sell order you will see it start at 50k(Or any figure) and then you will see +75k and -50k right below it or above it. Then you will see +100k and -£75k below it and so on until the order is filled. The reverse for selling. The problem we had on Wednesday is that the share price was changing so fast that by the time the LSE algorithm caught up it would mark it as a buy when it was a sell.
Also it was stated that it only has to be reported within 3 days. Whether this is true or not I am not sure.
This is a discussion I had am not 100% sure it is correct.
Also @Tommyscope, for the last day my L2 data and live share price has been broken in MS Edge, I would guess this is why you see the share price earlier.
Thanks,
Eastwood.
On L2 looks like someone just sold at 6p
Also it marked your buy as a sell DBD, so no use for me to follow the buys and sells as they are meaningless today.
DBD, you own HE1 yet? :-)
@Nate-PI, please take a look at the 08:43 trade is the seller back? i see 300k sold and the -150k tagging along right under it.
If the buys can be trusted this morning, then we should not be trading in the 12s. So either the MMs are working it a bit to fill their own orders or triggering some stop losses set at 13. This is my own thoughts and not fact.
Also have not seen the big seller or sellers turn up yet from the last 2 days, so that is one positive for now.
@SpeculativePunt - We have all been there, pushed the button and seen the price climb literally after the button was pushed. I had this experience in PHE. It sucks and is an expensive lesson, but not one you will make again in a hurry.
Has anyone else's LSE L2 data gone a bit awry in Microsoft Edge? It happens now and again with it occurring now. Seems to fix itself within a few hours. Additionally where you have the buy and sell amounts, you can now see the total amount. I.E buy volume is 22,277,149 and total amount is £3,110,001.18. When the data is working fine I would see the buy volume but the amount would just show as £3m.
Thanks,
Eastwood
Agreed Roleybirkin.
Thanks to Nate-PI providing me the info yesterday, I am able to watch the seller repeat it so far today.
Up to 2.4m now just came through
What is wrong with the picture is you trusting the bought and sold figures. as Phantom25 said ignore them at the moment. The price is changing so quickly that by the time the LSE algorithm catches up it marks it as a buy instead of a sell. i sold 10,000 shares as it marked it as a buy.
It looks like a the big seller is doing it again. Also cannot trust the buy and sells coming through by the looks of it.
You misunderstand Marik. I don't mind your investment style or how you buy. It is just a constant barrage of posts and conflicting posts.
Getting harder to read this board with people filtered. Close to adding Marik to the list.
Thanks Nate-PI, that makes sense.
sorry meant -2.6m
Yes, what i find interesting is the -2.4m right under it, so does that become a 600k sell?
Thanks Marik, that was extremely useful. Now where did i leave my crystal ball, never mind my teacup with leaves in it is right here.
When you see a 1.35m trade go through like at 08:03 and immediately it shows -1m under it. What exactly is happening here?
Has someone asked for a 1.35m trade and then removed 1m for a 350k trade? a better price mechanism?
Thanks,
Eastwood
But if we get no tweets of pictures of pipes in the background, how will I know how deep we are without the LSE board sitting and measuring and working our diameter of pipes and missing pipes from one pic to another?
Yes I am taking the P$$£.
I am in the mood for TAI food. :-)
