Looks like we are in for another jump up this week. Its like watching the early fall of a couple of snow flakes. Off course we have seen it all before back in November, September, May , March etc but they are fun whilst they last.
Does anyone else get the feeling that at around the 28th of each month for the last seven months this SP has been around the 39-41p mark.. strange very strange.
I know, sadly, I know. World peace and goodwill amongst men would also be helpful.
An update from TAN on what is actually happening at SEV and how they are doing would be helpful....any chance....
Confused ? Yup. One minute it bombs and then it rises like a rocket, oh well if it keeps it up I will not complain.
The Financial calendar states September 11 so they should be here by Friday. They were released on September 30th in 2009 so this looks like the day.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-14852073 Interesting article on a future option for cheaper safer batteries. I like the bit about them being 20% of the current cost. Just as petrol engines have developed over time, so will electric ones and their components.
Grief... I make one comment about an issue of TAN's stake in SEV and all hell breaks loose on both boards. I for one support TAN, and did top up at 29p two weeks ago. I will be here for a while yet.
That is the point, every penny / cent invested in TAN is neither use nor ornament to SEV. TAN is the liability and they will take steps to get rid of us, the sooner the better. The doom and gloom merchants say that the bod will act under orders from RS and sell for a song but the optimists say that the bod will ensure we do well. On another note, the H1 results should be out any day now going by previous years and that should be good
I nearly hit the sell button 30 minutes ago. All that talk of some Italian mathematician on the other board scared me a bit. Seriously, one of the critics makes a fair point when he says that TAN are a liability to SEV US and they need to get rid of our interest as soon as possible. This can be either through purchase at hopefully a fair price or dilution. I hope the TAN bod keep to their guns and hold out for the best price.
My guess will be that any news will be announced at American time, i.e 0700 EST
I have been trying to get some information on SEV US in terms of its financial yearly reports. It is a Delaware State registered corporation and it should have made two annual reports to the State Capital. It would be interesting to see what its turn over is. This link is the closest I can get. Any one got any ideas ? The fee they request only applies to its Tax status.https://delecorp.delaware.gov/tin/controller
I hope Tan do not get into Boiler Room manufacture. The cost of re-tooling to make the specialist plate and gauges will be huge..... come on we could do with a bit of humour given what has been a truly pants week. I wonder if the expert on iii had predicted that all of Tans problems were the same as the FTSE 100 after all what has happened to Tan has also happened to the FTSE.

Myo- well put and I agree with you. Avoiding debt is the most important thing. Look at the mess Optare ended up in with loans coming out of there ears having to go back to Ashok. I think not selling the entire stake in SEV UK for a cash lump sum will in the end prove to be the right decision. Yes, the 15m now may not be as much as the 40m initially promised but we as you put it 'have a smaller slice of a large cake' I only hope on Tuesday they provide a fact based update on Snorkel rather then vague 'optimistic statements'
At least is shows that the SEV UK factory must be busy if they are still buying in drive units.
At risk of sounding like a ramper, TAN now makes a juicy take over target. Why wait for an IPO and pay through the nose when you can have 33% of the real thing for £45m plus a growing international aerial work platform and engineering business thrown in? I know RS is a major holder but the rest can be bought for the right price.
Should finish at about 52.5 today. The key obvious question is - is this a rumoured filled bounce or the real thing? Hoping for the latter and a return to the 70 - 80p mark. SEV US is still turning out $3.2m of trucks a month (10 trucks a week at $80k) in the US alone and the Aerial side of the house is growing nicely.
News is definitely out there, some one has a tip of. This cannot be just the stock meandering between 38 and 40ish. My own view is that it is the Chinese order is about to be announced, hence the Facebook page. Coincidence ? no
Listed on ADVFN / iii - the new US Military order is for at least 17 vehicles based on $80k per truck. Not bad. Whilst news is quiet we must remember that SEV US is currently producing $800k of vehicles (10) per week.
