Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
We have four irons in the fire, the alluvials, the hard rock, Eureka and Kalengwa. This should be good news but my fear is that we have seen so many dilutions, anyone buying in now is just teeing themselves up for another write down in their holdings. A lot of investors were bitten by the last one.
I rarely post on this board but have slowly averaged down over the last 9 months. Lots of good news recently but I guess there is a lack of confidence in this news translating to results. My lowest buy was at .79 so the recent rise is slowly restoring hope. Lets see what the Q2 alluvial report brings. I am getting more and more confident. I could do with this hitting 4.5p
Well the market thinks things will improve. I suppose the biggest fear was a No Deal Brexit and that looks unlikey, If they vote for the deal (unlikely ) all well and good, If they do not approve the deal that will vote on No Deal- no chance will they do this, there are too many on both sides of the camp. Therefore, they will vote on an extension- just as good as a deal in my opinion... unless of course there is an election and Labour get in, then all shareholders in any FTSE 100 firm are in trouble.
Never mind the price of the stuff, it would nice to actually have some gold to sell ! ! There is more gold in our local HS Samuels ! I would be happy with a positive update on the hard rock for a starter.
I, like all of us, am pleased with the recent upswing, but again like most of us still need to see much much more in the way of an improvement. I hope there will be a positive RNS on Monday. CB will still need to deliver a higher SP if he hopes to go to the Investor show in March with any credible pitch.
In all, we get 10% of any gold produced, it does sound a bit more promising but we have been here before.
I think the market has sensed that Brexit has been kicked like a can down the road, just as with most other EU problems over the last 6 years
Here goes, May will not secure a new set of promises. There will be no second vote. She then calls a referendum with a choice between 'No Deal Brexit' and 'No Brexit.' The legal pathways now exist for both options. She is at heart a Remainer.
Jack- I now agree with you but suggest even lower, The chances of Brexit making it through Parliament are in my opinion less then 20%. The DUP are safe and do not need to do anything even if the Tory rebels are whipped.
It will be chaos for at least three months, and I do not short and as you known have been bullish in the past.
Jack- May we have your opinion please?
Prediction for Friday 23rd ...

Why ? Hope springs eternal and folk will think a deal might get through parliament
Sadly there are so many problems here, May will persuade the cabinet but Parliament will not agree, All it will take are two or three Conservative rebels and this will fail. Call me pessimistic but if this happens, the Government will fall as well. Much as I dislike the current PM, she was presented with a Gordian knot of immense complexity to solve.
Hi, I would be happy to see 2p again (only 50% down then)
No, and I am with Smart Investor. I think they must be going from branch to branch paying each £1 in individually.
I am looking forward to the results as I am quietly confident that the bond market has picked up. Here is hoping that they stick to 6.8p a share and pay half in September. I do not trade this much, I just like the dividend.
Mr Wolf, many thanks. Not much will happen here until the trade war sorts itself out, if it does, and May surviving with at least one MP still talking to her
Are we due a trading announcement ? I cannot see anything in the diary. If the divi for the year is to be 6p (ish) Do you think we will get half of it as an interim ? Many thanks
Big fall this morning, Why the drop ?
how about this fell 2p in an hour, ouch. Still not bad for the week though
Its that time again, well 22nd to be precise. This time last year we were rolling high and then things went wrong... Now, where will be on the 21st, halfway through trading on the 22nd and then at close on the 23rd. Jack ? Wolf ? Chaz ? My view is as follows and I am bearish, 207p , 215p, 211p.
