I think this is a done deal from what Ive read, they are clearly streamlining their portfolio, whether a new asset is part of their short term plan remains to be seen.

guess its all about timing and with the outlook for copper being positive going forward there are several big players who could be interested in what we have

Tbh honest DG it’s kind of irrelevant as this is a long term play for who ever buys it I think NM used the phrase it will transcend price cycles as it’s a Twenty year project and will take time to develop Just when the copper demand is supposed to increase over next few years I really don’t think current copper price fluctuations will make much difference, given the consensus of opinion about supply and demand over forthcoming years, especially as electric vehicles take off After all the rises in copper price haven’t really made much of a difference in copper plays yet

Was thinking IMO it’s a good sign of confidence to take these as part payment There have been some who misunderstand it, it works like this- they have the option to buy the shares at 40p and 60p respectively, the idea being the Sp is much higher at the time, hence it’s in their interest to buy at those levels
