We can see from grades already and in other companies releasing grades that the core at Alpala is alone sufficient to make the mine profitable.
These are very rare and getting more so.
It’s up there with the very best in the world in terms of financing for economics.
Have no doubt that their government will want Alpala mined ASAP and it WILL happen.
Whether it’s by us is the question we are yet to answer.

However, whats being missed by those who want us to continue as we are is that without JV's or sale of an asset we are very likely to be in the same position again with more pressure from the majors to take control with further dilution.

Whats interesting is the 'diverse book' argument could be turned on its head when you see that further dilution would give NM even less of a majority stake, BHP and NCM only have small stakes currently but it would seem its already very important for pi's to vote for NM if he is to remain in charge.

There is a reason this is the only tier 1 not yet in the hands of majors, it's what they do. Funding requirements make it very difficult indeed to go all the way solo before the dilution means a company is swallowed up on the cheap.

Exactly, no one has given us ay credible ways we will be able to continue long term raising funds for exploration without massive dilution and increased pressure from majors.

I too do not understnad why NM said he ruled out JV's, unless it was because he does actually want a sale at a decent price?.

Most can see the benefits of JV's on each project or selling a project, so we can maintain a level of independence.

I also agree that otherwise its curtains and the show will be over with a low ball take out.

However it’s all about the volume for prophecies, as long as there is a high grade core, which we have at Alpala and Porvenir likely also.

Didn’t we have a large intercept at 0.7%, that’s above average for a porphry.

although I agree with the sentiment of your post, I am quite surprised you don't know the value of the current grades at Porvenir.

Maybe do some research on porphyries and understand why they are the future with regard to gold/copper supplies going forwards and why their grades are not as high as smaller high grade shallower depsoits with much smaller volumes of resource.

As such the grades so far are better than average but not outstanding, however this is just the start as they define its limits.

The likelihood of its core having high grade ore is very strong indeed.
