MTFB shows as heavily oversold on all charts so I am expecting a bounce back up to min. of 4.5p anytime soon.

Hmmm L2 looks strange today, atm I am waiting to find out how the sp will react if someone buys over £5K worth of shares because I can only see one block of shares available at the current ASK, the rest are at 4.8p and above ?!

I totally agree with you that angus is currently undervalued but you should only blame the founder of the company for the the ongoing negative sentiment .. he shorted his own company, never delivered, sparked a coup to satisfy his ego & to cover up for his impotence. ebut I wouldn’t have referred to DL if I was you. No investor took advantage of his involvement with Angus like he did. He got overpaid for rubbish Lidsey then forward sold his shares for premium before the fundraising... check what someone tweeted about him recently :

I totally agree with you that angus is undervalued (current sp vs. assests) but you should only blame “the founder” of the company, Captain America for the ongoing negative sentiment .. He shorted his own company, never delivered, sparked a coup to satisfy his ego & to cover up for his incompetent.. his irresponsible actions dragged the sp all the from mid teens to all times low.

Jimzi is correct, Sandgrove reduced their spread bet not the number of shares they hold in MTFB (% of voting rights through financial instruments (total of 8.B 1 + 8.B 2) )

We paid DL for Lidsey to return the favor of standing with Tidswell in the Boardroom’s coup....

nhawan of course you cant sell, MMs pushed the ASK high so they could sell a big chunk of shares... they dont care about the company's fundamentals or the flow test in Brockham.. they buy cheap then sell high and make profit !

Hasiba, I've been on the L2 all day today and I was mainly interested in monitoring MTFB buy/sell volumes and trades. I saw the buying pressure building up so I made several 'mini' top ups under 3.9p because after lunch time it was almost impossible to get hold of any 'decent' volumes under 4.20p.....

MMs were hoovering all sells and happily paid full BID to pick any chunky sells... Interestingly, they didn't offer many shares on the ASK (shorts covering ?) ! SP showing slow but steady recovery since Friday afternoon; Long way to fill the first gap (8p) but I'm afraid that the opportunity to avg down/topup under 4p has passed now.

If the buying momentum continues, the sp will easily end above 4.5p tomorrow, value/charts traders won't give great consideration to MTFB's fundamentals & they know Motif Bio won't meet the FDA anytime soon so there is a good chance for a short squeeze from the oversold zone,....An opportunity which traders will take a full advantage of it !

PP_7 I agree with what you are saying here but if you check the trading volumes from last Friday on AIM & Nasdaq you will find that on AIM for every 12 shares been sold, 10 of them been picked up buyers, on Nasdaq we had more buys than sells. US holders think the FDA’s feedback is already factored in the share price (90% drop since Feb) and the drop took into account the cost required to cover the extra work needed. Unless institutional holders sell in bulk or we get another bad news shortly, SP cant go any lower from here otherwise anything in the pipeline, what the company achieved so far, money in the bank, current access to fund .. all worth nothing !

Chart-wise and technical analysis shows MTFB as heavily oversold, consolidated around 3.5p and showing signs of some recovery. On the L2 no decent volume available to buy under 4.2p

L2 looks healthy today, only one seller under 4p with a small volume. Currently oversold (RSI 22%) so we'll see some recovery today.

From my experience with US biotech companies, I rarely see members of board buy shares from open market. They normally get granted shares plus even if GL wants to buy some shares from the open market I’m not quite sure he is currently allowed to do so since he knows some price sensitive info and will be meeting the FDA again shortly. Saying that, what grabbed my attention yesterday was the total buy Vol, 8.5M shares vs. total sell Vol 10.4M... as for the sells I can see many LTHs cashed out, day traders cashed out after 10% sp drop from Thursday , some people won’t hold over weekends, etc but the interesting bit was why others decided to buy 8.5M shares ? every dip gets picked up straight away . With great RNSs pouring in and AGM on the way, manipulators wont keep shorting HEMO... since last week we have a healthy sp trend & imo SP will move north from here...

You are not the only one holding Ivy, Most of US PIs still holding too.. I’ve checked today’s trading volumes on Nasdaq listing and I was really surprised to find out that today’s trading volumes were less than the daily avg Vol (507K <626K) ! I also checked today’s buy/sell volumes, again another surprise 243K buy /259K sell.

US holders said the FDA’s reaction is already factored in the share price (90% drop since Feb) and today’s drop was more of a reaction to the bad news and taking into account the cost required to cover the extra work needed so the damage has been done, another 50% drop and there is no point in selling now since the sp is at the rock bottom, otherwise what the company acheieved so far, the products in the pipeline, the money in the bank, current access to fund .. all according to some ppl worth nothing !

Anyway, there wasn’t a panic selling on nasdaq because US stock PIs/traders are familiar with such FDA decisions and what matters to them is the details of the decision and what need to be done rather than to see it in black or white terms ...
