Thanks mulled. A thoroughly enjoyable read ;)
lots of buys going through over the offer price including some pretty chunky ones. also a regular 5k buyer accumilating. seems like alot of peole are expecting a higher counter offer
good to see confirmation of constantia / HDI's continued support. incresed share holding by 9m shares
Looks like many posters were right that someone would make a play before the DFS is complete to try and get KAH cheap. Itochu / nippon will be using their influence to maximise a return. I would imagine that they had amassed their stake for the long term and would be expecting a much more developed project, possibly even production before a take over. Cant believe they will be impressed with 290. The game is on!
recommended offer of 290p. i have to say that i will be disappointed if it goes for that. http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail.html?announcementId=10806295
http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail.html?announcementId=10805690The Company further confirms that it is in talks with a third party, which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the entire issued share capital of the Company. Discussions are continuing and a further announcement will be made when appropriate. Consequently the Company is considered to be in an "Offer Period" as defined in the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers (the "Code"), and the dealing disclosure requirements listed below will apply.
it's a wopper! DFS completed Q1 and the plan is to move swiftly to construction. "Preparations for the transition from DFS to commencement of the Engineering Procurement Construction Management (EPCM) portion of the project are well underway" http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail.html?announcementId=10760331
normal service resumed. only a 100k buys and sells and up we go
Been out all day and missed your post earlier. You’re quite right - another black Friday from ENK but at least they gave you time to trade it this time. Sorry to here you are out but can understand your frustration after waiting so long for a payback with this one. I am taking consolation that the management of ENK have been making plans to protect shareholder value with the purchase of Rusina. Looked like a strange one at the time but can you imagine how bad today would have been if they hadn’t made that move earlier in the year.. Reckon HDI must be hopping mad but cant find any announcement on HDI or constantina website to see what they make of these developments. They must have been in discussion with ENK as to how to re position the investments. Do you think they could pull out entirely? My feeling is no as they seemed to be interested in both caldag and acoje. Its just that acoje will be first now. As for TMC nearly bought yesterday. pmsl. One of these days I will time perfectly the mother of all trades. TMC does look like a possibility for ENK (and HDI’s millions). They have expertise in the region and the sites are surprisingly close. They mothball 1 project and look for another near term production prospect and ENK have been involved with TMC for a while.. could be true..You could buy TMC for £10m yesterday. Anyway, off to the pub. At least when I wonder where all my money has gone in the morning I will have a hangover to show for it :)
should have stuffed a few more Lira in the brown envelope we gave to the coffee drinker
I like this price. 37-38p. its good. Good if you’re already in and you’ve made a bit and still enough upside for those thinking about buying. It’s a nice price. I like it. Happy weekend all ENK’ers (actually, that sounds a bit rude. Sorry)
I agree. It is a bit of a strange old comment to make. I think ENK were just trying to be honest and open in their communication but it’s a bit like stating the obvious though..if things change then we will have to review what we are going to do about it..any company could put similar statements in any RNS they issued. Bit naive and unnecessary IMO. As for the share price, I’m not too worried. As stated in rakepat’s broker post 25/10 “We initiate coverage with a base-case 55p initial target price, and see considerable longer-term upside potential to at least 150p. Buy”. nuf said.
39.5 was a good closing price. put us back right on the trend line with all decisive news still to come
impressive work. you are showing your class there, mate. I think there are a few of us that can afford a pint or two after the week the ENK has given us. happy friday, all. :)
wasnt in them myself. i bought BMR instead thinking i could be in and out with profits and in to SQZ while they were still in mid 40's. as you can see, that never happened. dont think i've timed one like that yet lol.
looks like you did well to get out of sqz when you did. buying op??
talking of volumes and share cap, a few weeks ago i was trying to work out how many shares there were available to trade i.e. not with directors, institutions etc. looking on the ENK website they state a share cap of 548.3 mil on 1st april. on here it shows 232 mil. in the RNS of 19th july ENK confirmed that there are 232 mil shares in total. the website dosent show HDI as a major share holder, so is it 548 mil + the HDI placings divided by 4 for the consolidation? i'm a bit lost on this and gave up . can anyone help me out here. thanks
its the share that keeps on giving. no end in sight at the moment.
once again ENK has moved up on hardly any volume. less than half a % traded again so far and it has held its gound during difficult times over the last month on practically no volumes at all. imagine what will happen if we get 5 million + traded....
i would expect that there is a significant step up when the forestry permits are issued. bobo im with you. i think that fact we are steadly rising up to 30p shows there is confidence that this permit will be issued soon.
