Great risk versus reward investment/trade at this level especially when the JV is 'expected' to be signed off this week...

I'm sure we've all experienced the final yards of getting a deal across the line. If both parties want the JV it will happen subject to the usual last minute 'haggling'...

Normally readTCMs coments for a chuckle but can't be bothered today (used the filter button lol). TK is going to happen, and pretty soon we'll get finance sign off. GLA LTHs....

Project Launch Update

As previously reported, the three critical conditions precedent set by the Project lenders were formally achieved in October 2023 (see announcement dated 5 October 2023). This led to final credit committee approval by the lead-lender (see announcement dated 10 January 2024).

The Company can now report that all the other parties in the funding syndicate, have advised they will this month go to their respective committees to approve the proposed transaction.

The Ethiopian Federal Government also attended and reaffirmed its equity capital investment has been fully documented, committed and already partly invested.

The contractors in the syndicate have all reaffirmed their intention and readiness to enter into the already-drafted definitive documentation to enable full Project launch in H1 2024 as previously outlined.

There will be an update this week (as per latest RNS). Let's hope it is the one everyone is waiting for...

End of the week and in the scheme of things, if the JV is as good as we all hope, a re rate into March....

Let's hope that the long awaited news from DRC is positive. I'm sure the bb will be busy!

I 'expect' we will get an RNS within the next 2 weeks. Not normally wrong about the timing of project updates lol
