Imo not the the JVP buying as part of a takeover /buy out as they would would just make a substantial offer lock stock and a billion barrels as copl are very undervalued at the moment anyway and so I don't think they would mess about buying stock on open market.

Could well be rival oil company buying - accumalating stock while cheap and getting in on the act.

But I was always confident ( well nearly aways) this would rerate back to 20's at least - because of the massive assets and tech on the ground.

Looks like this is a proper rerate and not a false dawn as people are now realising and starting to load up.
