Highland cant quite reconcile your figures but as stated I think the money presented in back costs plus carry would have been fair at 37.5% Aex equity and separately 12.5% from solo. However unfortunately due to years of mis management of assets that's where we find ourselves. May I suggest rather than vote down this transaction, we use our shareholding to request change of bod more in line with non operated company? Whilst I appreciate we probably don't have adequate skills set for that either here, at least we can try and get costs down. Any argument regarding the need to operate remaining assets could be argued back with the fact that considering the bod track record to date with that regard, we would probably just be better to wait for zubs to put us out of our misery for those assets as well rather than let the bod de-value it further? All imho and dyor of course!!

He was an amazing enigma and sadly just didn't fulfil his potential. Zubs are an unknown quantity but likely to be significantly better than Aex. The facts are that the market offered 40 mm for 50 %. Guys wtgr wasn't this exactly what I said would happen? Zubs have offered slightly tighter deal than I thought but they haven't robbed us. As I have said many times before, even I have been surprised at some of the perceived vindictiveness I have come across in the industry. But at the end of the day it's simply business and that's what makes bigger companies successful. They aren't charities. Also small investors/ share holders always always over valud their assets!! That was what was wrong with pci mgt (as I saw this mentioned today as example). The monkeys running that company simply over valued the assets. They made some real humdinger mistakes as well, when 'defending' the take over, which were absolutely unforgivable! As ever all imho of course and dyor!!

CP generally speaking what happens is that production profiles are approved yearly. These impact the cost recovery allowable if the product price is not fixed. Then for these agreed production profiles there will be a pre agreed allowable variance (as with the cost recovery) and if moves plus minus from these profiles approval would be required. If kn1 'solution' was a workover in theory this could 'maybe' hace been absorbed in the operating costs budget without exceeding pre agreed cost variance although due to the nature of this work, I would have thought it would have required separate approval. I am not trying to be clever just stating that normally you would have up submit monthly operations report plus quarterly production profiles (variance) report and was wondering who this would be too? TPDC as customer or ministry as overseer of all matters oil and gas?

Crusty is it tpdc or ministry that approves the capital and operating costs work programme for following year?
