Guys in theory you need some very clever g&g consultants (plus driller consultant when drilling to keep eyes on this) and a 'real' salesman in charge now. Now I think that investors realise the actual cash from deal isn't tenable for maintaining such a world class team, therefore probably better they leave and go on to add incredible value, in a similar way to here, elsewhere? What did we expect of a farm in Max? I'd say on average most of you were talking at least 5p per which equity point equivalent? Except a couple probably looked at my estimates and copied mine a bit because at the time I was laughed off the board but I think 'some' did see I spoke a bit of sense. I actually applauded (and continue to do so) the deal but my point is : get rid of the mgt and become reactive partners and hope zubs take our other operated assets further as well. Mgt to date have added zilch value so rather than muck up further, spending OUR money inefficiently and then get rescued for low ball offer from zubs, reduce costs now and wait for probably higher offer from zubs because things haven't been mucked up and we have a little longer to 'hold out'? Just my opinion and dyor of course!

Yes but I'm talking about all his comments / rumours that never come to anything etc. not just firm recommendations. I certainly don't see him as a sage in o&g sticks but only my opinion and he certainly hasnt for aex right to date? Lol!

I know two high level contractors who worked for one of the competitors in country (o&g) and they had absolutely no complaints at all operationally. If the aex mgt have mis understood their relationships with govt., the value of their assets and worth in open mkt and how they strategically positioned themselves including NOT having adequate rig in situ to do b2b wells and hence PROVE up reserves (rather than rely on pre ops CPR, Lol) then you go ahead and blame the govt if it makes you feel better. Based upon experience of canyon acquisition, which considering the 'mgt consequences' (and 'costs' thereof), think going to a local garage, valuing and buying some 5 litres of petrol without overpaying, would be quite a challenge for the aex 'mgt' team. All imho and dyor of course.
