The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Would that be because they've seen the SP drift downwards with lack of news in the past? Or even after what we thought might boost the SP (e.g: Lancet) but didn't? But potentially dangerous game, assuming some good news about being on US trial (and any implications from that) about to drop?
Pmjh, we'll all want you to take a prominent role with the next share to analyse so forensically. After all you're hardly going to be able to retire and put your feet up with your 30 shares ;-)
Sky. Totally agree. I work in Marketing too, not PR. Have seen some crap PR agencies out there so understand Parsley's frustrations with them, but there are some that are excellent. Parsley, take a look through any paper and you'll see that over 75% of stories have comes from a PR agency or equivalent. If there's amazing news, then the news should run by itself, but even then it needs proper direction of the narrative. In reality this isn't really big news to the public as a lot of this is repeating the P2 story from July, so they probably done a decent job.
However, if there are negative stories floating around as Doc says, Consillium should be all over this with expert rebuttals and should have had this pre-planned.
Parsley, this was all a professionally coordinated PR approach. Including the Indie and Reuters articles 2-3 days prior. In the PR world, local stories do propagate to national titles, but they usually take longer to spread.
Prof, their whole gamble to get out of the ****show of the past 10 months is vaccines vaccines vaccines. I've just seen a Conservatives post bragging about being no.1 in vaccinations in Europe. So they need to be 100% focused on their vaccines narrative.
CR, I wonder what would have happened without that news? Drop by 5-10% to balance out recent rises? Maybe yesterday's news just helped things become stable?
However, those news items weren't by chance, they were planned, and I suspect planned to coincide with first dosing coming soon, in order to keep momentum going.
This is all part of new PR strategy. They’ve found an angle that takes SNG001 away from the vaccine debate. Smart.
It makes sense why they’ve been quiet for months when there’s no ‘new news’.
Only question is why are they launching new PR now? Because it’s all about to start happening!!
Am I starting to get as enthusiastic as Zwarts?!
(Love you Zwarts !) ;-)
Wasn't expecting that after it had been trundling along at +2% all day. Laughing now even more at the desperate derampers over the weekend. They've probably crawled back under their rock, ****ting themselves that their crypto bubble won't burst further.
So what's going on Parsley? I assume that you're saying that they either have a screwed up process internally for applications or a very strict and tight recruitment criteria.
If it's the first, then an investment to advertising would give those involved with the process a kick up the arse.
If it's about getting the right recruits, then what they need is a whole load more applicants.
I heard an ad for convalescent plasma the other day on some commercial radio station. So if they're doing it...?
Right. I've had enough with the Home trial trundling along for ages. If they need recruits, then they need a little ad campaign on the likes of Classic FM or LBC or in the Express. It doesn't have to be clever, it just has to come across as authoritative and trustworthy, whilst being straightforward and simple. It won't cost the earth to create and the media buy won't be that big either, in the grand scheme of things. I run my own ad agency, so want to approach RM / whoever at Synairgen to see if they're interested. It's a long shot I know. I've looked on their website for contact details, but can't find an email.
So... does anyone have the right email to contact someone relevant at Synairgen?
I'll then give this a shot !
The price at the moment is a 1/2 decent price to get out of for anyone with an ave around 1.75 (like me), cutting their losses. But it really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Yes, it's great to see it at a price above 1.00, but in reality for any LTH, all that matters is the price after P3 and beyond.
So de-rampers might niggle away at anyone day-trading, but to any LTH (most of the most active on this board) they're banging and wailing against a sound-proof room and we're laughing at you from the inside. See you all after P3 results and then much later on with any T/O or when the company expands into areas beyond Covid.
Thanks as always TT.
I wonder if there are factors around 175 and especially 200, when any investors who bought in at those levels might want to cash in and break even? Or maybe at say 10% above those figures, so they can cash in with a bit of profit?
As for me, I'm happy to be close to my average now and FOMO makes me want to sit this out til the end !
