It's a win win for any major, at the moment they are making shed loads of dosh. Even if they paid 1 billion ( stupid figure ) with a potential to earn 25 - 50 billion , even if they got zilch out of the ground they just write it off against any other profits - whats not to like about it !

No chance - this is playing out now , no way will a major or any of them be waiting until next year, oil supercycle is current and will be for the foreseeable !!!

Only at he right price and for that we still await the Ryder scott report ( which we may not see ) Art may have done an NDA with potential suiters !

The the price of oil has considerably increased and will continue to do so for the foreseeable. The big boyz are making substantial sums per quarter and see COPL as a way to buy a huge find and build reserves. The only down side is that Art has always maintained he wants to lead a major oiler, but i truely believe that boat has sailed - its now time for him to prove his negotiation skills in delivering a mind blowing offer that will for many of his long time supporters be life changing - Come on ART you can do it !!!!

COPL is tredding in unknown waters , never in its history has it been this fortunate ( according to ART ) to have landed the motherload of oil in the US together with potential gains in other world regions. Its now down to see how good a wheeler dealer ART is - 4 more weeks and we will know ! Deal maker or bull8****er
