thanks tyfoon....I just got lucky as I received the Vox alert speed read it and seen the couple of negative points and took a chance knowing what this market is like.....oh and I wasn't on the golf course which is where I have spent the majority of this wonderful summer...and cg for the record I am a 'he' haha. Wasn't a massive trade but managed to add 25k at no actual cost as such and banked a grand for a trip to Ireland next month so all in all not too shabby.

@cg...not sure if you are referring to me but if so that wasn't my trade....although I did get 26.56 for one trade it was only for 100k...the next 100k was 26p and a couple of smaller ones for less.

they spoke direct to the MM and they offered me 22p which I refused....it was an interesting conversation...upshot was I told them as it was my money I will trade as I see fit. I had already sold a chunk over 26p just after the RNS was released then bought back in from 22.3-23.80 increasing my holding as stated earlier.

agreed...should have been addressed sooner but at least its resolved and hopefully lessons learned

I placed three sell orders for 100k with HFX and they called me to have a chat. The nub of the discussion was they said I would get a better price lumping all the sells together...I disagreed....they mentioned market manipulation. Apparently if you place three orders or more in quick succession that go to NT they are alerted hence the call.

Also the industrial action was related to 'historic compensation structures prior to Bushvelds involvement' as was the local unrest....

I have just requested a transfer of funds from a Standard Life Group Money Purchase Scheme into my HL SIPP. Wondering if anyone else has conducted this type of transaction with these two companies in the recent past and if so what the timeline was. Thanks in advance....oh guess where the funds are going to go....should have done this a while ago but forgot all about it until I received my annual statement.
