Thanks Pawn it still leaves me wondering!
The dispute detail there shows $750,000 Nov/Dec 2015 and a counter claim for $575,000 re breach of JOA.
It shows NTOG set the ball rolling
"Accordingly, the joint venture is preparing a full and detailed dispute notice as required by the joint operating agreement and has served that on North. The joint operating agreement provides for arbitration in London under UK law if the dispute cannot be resolved,"
Todays RNS then simply confirms the dispute has not been resolved and that North have referred the matter to arbitration as allowed for in the JOA
From an arbitrary point of view I would think that it would be right for NTOG to wish to see the justification and unless they can prove as such I doubt North would get the amount claimed. If according to JOA they (North) have not kept to the agreement then NTOGs claim could also be valid. I would suspect we will come out somewhere in the middle
From this I can only see that disputed figure being worse case scenario because I've not seen anything further being disputed. In best case, a justified figure minus any figure awarded for counter claim would be the result.
Just my thoughts on the knowledge I have at hand
