On reflection ad having reread the article a couple of times .....as the Colonel said , it's fairly clear we are rapidly approaching the sharp end here.
Over the years we have all come up with various theories re the eventual outcome here and even the price achievable in the case of a takeover. With regards to Nick Mather, love him or loathe him, it has to be assumed that from a point of obtaining maximum share price value , we are aligned.
It's also clear that BHP covet Solgold/Cascabel and would obviously like it for the cheapest price achievable.
With so many shares here in the hands of II's I think it's fair to assume the regulars on this board represent a maximum of 2-3% of the total shares in issue. This however means that we can potentially effect up to a 5% swing if our votes are called on again. So the questions I have are, if we all stick to our guns.....
What do you perceive as fair value for Cascabel?
If push came to shove what would you accept?
