About this event
Hear and ask questions about how and why we intend to create a Green Energy Hub at Shoreham Port. With improving air quality and reducing emissions at the top of our national sustainability agenda, experience first-hand the passion and opportunity we have when it comes to creating local jobs, supporting the regional economy, and sustaining our future.
Working with H2 Green, a Getech Group company. Together, we will make affordable hydrogen available everywhere. If you are delivering transport or energy services, your fuel source needs to be reliable. H2 Green are collaborating with proven technology providers, major energy operators, investors, and end users to ensure that we provide reliable supplies of clean, low-cost hydrogen throughout the UK.
Hydrogen fuel cell buses are appearing all over the UK. They can travel further and refuel faster than electric battery buses and leave no air pollution in our towns and cities. The air quality and health benefits of this transition will be huge in urban areas. Trains and other forms of public transport will soon follow.
Our Green Energy Hub at Shoreham Port will enable fuel users to kick start their transition to net zero.
After this session, there will also be an opportunity to take a short tour on a hydrogen fuelled bus. Ride around the Port to hear the difference the choice of fuel makes to noise and rider experience, the bus tours are thanks to our engineering collaborators, also based in Shoreham, Ricardo.
