Recent Developments and Discoveries

In 2023, Beyond Lithium discovered promising new spodumene-bearing pegmatite zones at two of its projects in Ontario: the Ear Falls project and the Victory project, with the Victory project discovery earning the company the prestigious 2023 Bernie Schnieders Discovery of the Year

Power Metals' Case Lake project in Ontario also hosts spodumene-bearing lithium-cesium-tantalum pegmatites, with the company identifying a new pegmatite zone in November 2024

Northern Ontario's lithium deposits are largely underexplored and contain extensive reserves of spodumene in hard-rock pegmatite formations, which typically contain significantly higher lithium concentrations than brine or clay deposits.
