Was on Holloway Bay (only 18/1 as 7 places)and Rohaan (because I had him as a favourite), longshot and saver, so only 7 points down for Royal Ascot binge!
Stableinsider has Approachability in the 5.45 and Jon has Bergerac in the 6.45
GL with yours today as have followed.
Thanks for that info Madpunter. The President's role is usually as a figurehead where a parliament passes laws so she probably is exceeding her remit but it was interesting to read the comment about the Ukraine outcome being pivotal for the consideration of EU membership. That would make a more hefty block for mutual defence even if Putin wins some eastern corridor to Crimea. I doubt the block would join NATO but it would probably get well armed if required!
Morning Harry. I put your last two in a double - the only 2 I did of yours as I only dabble to celebrate better days on the market! I have Dreams of Thunder 7.55 7/1 e/w, Kraken Power 8.25 8/1 e/w backed today with some of the winnings....
I consider the UK is engaged in the war in Ukraine with our wallets but the political class/question time on bbc never seem to use the argument to justify tightening our belts. How can you control inflation with free handouts that will debase the currency and put the cost of food imports up. Putin destroying property is a recessionary action for the world when you consider the loss of capacity and pressure on aid budgets to support the displaced. Recession might temper inflation as opposed to any unlikely productivity increase. The world has to move away from ever rising GDPs anyway as the environment cannot sustain that.
It is all about control of the capital base and peoples lives Allan. Emphasis by the government should be on curing addiction and creating equitable laws and not ones that always favour the rich. The poor need to be happy while they are poor-not negating the possibility of bettering their state-but the sick and addicted caused by society will be most quickly alleviated by moderate pay and expectatations by the rich rather than greed for power.
I got an intrusive letter from my bank about help with gambling after paying hundreds of pounds back into my account after over a year of not using those accounts and I am a few thousand up on the bookies. I do wonder how my bank considers I might be a gambling addict and what statistics this review is based on as I doubt any bank feedback will be meaningful.
12/3/22-18/3/22, 120 bets staking £67.65 and returning £77.90 and lots of fun!
pleased to back vauban aswell as pied piper winning £9.38 using £5 free bet from Bet 365 which I neglected to utilise on Tuesday. On Thursday I used the freebie for Bob Olinger (cheers Harry) which returned £6 as stakes are not returned. They gave me £5/day for Cheltenham and I utilised £15 which I have not included in staking. One bet was for £2 as I was too light on the key for the dot, intending for 20p bet. The free bets won me £15.68 which I include in the return.
I have one unsettled as races tomorrow-Parikarma 16.55, a stableinsider tip.
Thankyou; I actually prefer it out of action!
