WTI 53.90 seems to be the bottom edge of a potential bullish channel. its a resistance that needs to be broken. support at 52.50 if it comes back down.

CEOs - its there job to sound positive. they always do. see what the brokers say they have more say in where SP is heading.

flat results. 144p is not safe. i see mid 130s coming. 125p will have it wait (if it ever gets there).

out at 7am this morning. it looks grim. back down under 60p today looks likely. 40s possible.

yes £33 per qtr after it moves to shares as i understand. try ADVFN. it seems to have everything moneyam has. chart, trades, RNSs. level 2 is pay-for. i'll switch over to it soon. i think it times out more often than moneyam so a few more clicks of the back button!

this afternoon TLW went up nearly 2.5% to bounce off the day's low. during that time PMO went down..

68p gap to close. any pull back in the oil price and more than a fair chance it gets closed tomorrow.

one to watch tomorrow: VOD Q3 results. i'll be up early to read the verdict. my sell yesterday at 150p looking good today after it closed at 144p (multi-year low).

odd that oil is going up and at same time US market is dropping. they have been tracking most days.

brent up 40c since 4:30pm.

is oil price about to pop? they just had to trash the oilies yesterday before the rise.. its testing a resistance right now (WTI $53.40).

got into some cash for tomorrow (Friday). its usually a dog of a day for shares.

if 53.40 doesn't break then likely see a pull back. maybe $2
