i posted on Friday what my near-term target for oil price is.. WTI $53.50 its still got a long way to drop and trend has turned bearish today. thats why i think high 60s for SP.

i think i'm being too generous. may see 60s today ;-)

FTSE 100 futures showing a 1% drop vs Friday's close. US futures are pointing to a lower open (<1%).

brent under $61 this morning. $60.95 ongoing US/China trade war will take this lower. 70p today's target.

i sold KIE yesterday on that huge bounce (45%) when i got into a little profit on part of my holding. very nearly bought some back today. theres no bullish trend at the moment so i'm unsure about getting back in. but as can be seen with Thomas Cook things can change quickly and if you're out you miss the rise. I'm in a little cash so I may get the op. to buy early next week.

i saw the rise. odd how the company does not comment since the last RNS implied little value in the shares. i was thinking a debt for equity with the shares being worth a penny or two literally! i may of had a punt in the low 3s but not way would i be paying 10p unless there is a serious take over offer. someone posted RNS after market closes. offer of 15p blah blah blah maybe the rise today was just a temp. short squeeze.

had a little punt on M&S (MKS) today at £2. they had a recent RI at 185p so i don't expect SP to go any lower than that.

$2 bounce off the lows yesterday and SP 75p. I wonder where SP would be if brent was at 60 and not 62.

i see no comment from F458 today.

lucky number in China but unless you are Chinese its not.

we won't see 68p if oil holds steady. but 73/74 likely.

its possible we see 68p early morning but even at that price buying is a gamble. oil could take another leg down. odds are it will.

holding RNS in the morning. so says F458!! Rowe out then BOOM! CN will be left for dust as buyers scramble for shares paying over 12p at the open. one can hope.

WTI having its worst day in more than 4 years!!

great day for Kier (KIE) today. up 50% off yesterday's lows. seems my email to their IR dept. did the trick! kicking myself for not adding to my holding yesterday. the sh*t really did hit the fan.
