oil much unchanged just up 20c since 4:30 yesterday.
the pound is up so not so good for the FTSE 100 stocks.

trade deal agreement reached in principle. no details of the deal yet. phase 1 part of deal.

FTSE 100 futures just shot up. maybe on election news. but US S&P futures are up too.

until news (drill, CEO appointment, sale?) i'm keeping an eye on the oil price movement. its currently in the middle of the upward channel. i don't have a clear picture of where its heading so i'm cautious about oilies at the moment. if oil stocks pull back then likely Tullow too. i'm guessing that some buyers over the last few days may get their stops taken out on any retrace. there was some news out today about opec cuts may not be enough to counter the extra oil coming onto the market next year. not sure the phase 1 US/China deal will help the oil price that much.

Trump says both he and China want a deal. but wanting is not the same as getting. maybe he is softening the market up ready for a disappointment.

Tullow having a cardiac arrest. its flat line at 60p. US futures look a little weaker and could drag oil price down.

oil price testing WTI $59 support. be careful if taking a position in any oilies.

i worry when MasterRSI posts and says retracement done. lets see.
