Computershare act as the official custodian of shares when investors directly register their holdings (like through DRS) or hold them via nominee.

When Greatland moved to the new parent Greatland Resources, the restructuring included a share consolidation (20-to-1) and all certificated shares ended up as Depositary Interests held in Computershare UK’s CSN facility . That means Computershare physically holds the shares—even though the beneficial owners are the investors themselves.

I first got involved at 26p roughly, and watched it go down and down…and down…for 4 years!
