With the FSP having caused such confidence issues here I wonder could it not have been handled better ( despite the rules)?

There is no indication of anyone at EVE giving up from this paragraph and if one noticed the mattress prices etc on EVE website have increased in price - that’s inflation pressures but at least they are increasing prices as is necessary.
The TP reviews are mostly great and continual and the gap between number of TP reviews compared to Nectar is decreasing so perhaps we are doing better than them? With the initial shock of the (sadly ongoing war) now accepted people may feel life continues so but what they need as we had been advised in the RNS sales had recovered and may well still be?
I would expect the FSP to run on until August time so we in for an uncertain time till then.
Wonder what the position of DN Investments are as they have not issued the required 8.3 form?

It’s reasonably if one is only now buying shares at under 1penny but a lot it is are at 5p, 10p etc — just a pity that hindsight shows we should have sold at 3 or 4 p and bought 3 or 4 times are holdings now!

Will you be selling or holding D-G?
I will of course hold on.

So can we as a group of shareholders put together a list of concerns than could be emailed to CC or EVE?
Or could be combine out shareholding under 1 spokesperson so we may have a bit of clout?
Just throwing out some ideas.

She should clarify the cash position and indicate to the market what the alternatives are if FSP fails. I assume there will be alternatives. She needs to do that immediately before the share price is fully obliterated. Getting the share price higher will also be good for FSP, will cause a higher offer.

So I really hope small shareholders views, some of us have the majority of our savings in here, will be a consideration in EVE future too?

Best wishes at this unpredictable time ( but would love you to put in an extra effort to pull out all the stops to do what you said in the March presentation) and get EVE core business to breakeven or even profitable despite the cost of living crises though at the time you did not know exactly how you would.

Thanks for your e-mail. I am not intentionally ignoring you, but as you can imagine there is rather a lot going on at the moment. We are, always fully aware of both our share price position and the reaction of the markets, fear not.

Our priority, and indeed fiduciary obligation as board directors is to prioritise shareholder value creation as first amongst all stakeholders, and this is foremost in our minds at all times. The outcome of the FSP, assuming a sale or new funding is the outcome will be put to shareholder vote, in line with UK law, and under the jurisdiction of the takeover code.

In the meantime our focus is of course in working hard on the business we have in front of us today, regardless of any future change of ownership or funding options.

I’m sorry there is little more I can say at the moment, not least as we are within a formal sale process, and therefore market communications have to be strictly limited.

Yes the uncertainty here is understandably making some people exceptionally nervous and possibly selling by thinking something is better than nothing!

.... yes the SP had fallen again :( but with so many retail investors and day traders few are holding on to their shares hence the SP falls).
During the FSP the rules mean nothing can be disclosed during this period.
All the negative talk is maybe just adding fuel to the fire and providing any potential interested entities the ability to put in a low bid in the form of a saviour to make the deal look ok and it would not be!
EVE has been close to profitability and recent sales seems to indicate customers are buying EVE products again. ( The few months at beginning of war frightened everyone with Putin putting their nuclear missiles on alert!!!! Is it any wonder business took a downturn?)
Anyway EVE are hoping to find a cash inject to expand but I just wonder if they can continue on as a going concern if the FSP does not find a suitable investor ( I.e. some entity who can see value here and are prepared to pay a decent SP such as 10p per share for example)

Though how many shareholders here have sold some or all of their holdings?

Could there be a reason to make the SP as low as possible so this can be bought cheaply by some entity?

D-G. EVE have had the SleepAway at £197 for quite a while now. I just thought it was an inflation price increase and wondered how Argos still can keep there’s at £179 ( and now £143 as part of Argos Sale.
Love the DGU Seriously Bad Advice sign too. Let’s hope I will have a reason to get one made :)

Yes D-G. I now watch frequently to see if their are any updates on the Possible Offer section on the EVE Investor website. Patience is the best thing here but no idea really if patience will pay off for existing shareholders or not.
But I agree CC is hopefully seriously tied up in discussions and hopefully she will only consider a deal if it does not hang curt shareholders out to day. It would be nice to see Paul Pindar who put £1,000,000 pounds of his own funds at last share raise and bought an 10p at least be rewarded with negotiating to a 10p share price minimum - but who knows how this is going to pan out. I do sense your confidence is not as it once was D-G? And I have little basis for my optimism but I an determined to remain optimistic here for the time being.

Eve Mattress
Our old mattress was comfortable but very old. We picked Eve using which and haven't been disappointed. Its firm, supportive and we both sleep well on it.
Weve happy with our choice and by lucky timing also got a good discount.
A small picky thing is this type of mattress is quite deep and our current bed is set high. Its just within an acceptable height, any higher then we would also need to change our bed.

Many buyers buy here due to Which recommendation — just by chance the couple got the discount (45 to 50% was the recent discounts) —- so it seems they would have bought regardless of discounts - hence EVE may get away with not so much discounting - say occasionally 10 or 15 %! It probably does t need to be 50% despite competitors- would rather EVE sold a few less mattress with good margins.

The Trust Pilot reviews gap between EVE sleep and Nectar appears to be closing. We now on 11353 to Nectars 11850 reviews so now less than 500 of a difference. Wonder does than indicate EVE are doing better than Nectar presently?
