Unfortunately at my local stores, the plants have wilted and died during this hot weather as no one bothers to water them. Beautiful plants at £8.50 being thrown away or sold for 50p. Management need to address this, must be £100's being wasted. I hope that they read these comments. Tesco, were watering their plants.

I am sure that someone here can explain what will happen to my shares when and if Ashtead move their listing to the USA.? I think I read that they are seeking a duel listing, but if not will our shares move onto the NYSE?

Too many times I have followed Motley Fool, only to be made a fool. I do believe that these analysts don't know anymore than you are I.

Too many times, whilst holding BP I have seen the share price go to 550+ and then shoot down again, so this time I have taken advantage of the rally and sold all. Will buy back in when the price drops back again, which it surely will.

I seem to remember that they said they would not pay a dividend for 2 years, until the debt which they took on was reduced and I believe that Pfizer also has an interest in HLN. I am sure that someone will either correct or collaborate with me.

The price is well below the 200p that this share was pre pandemic. Its a great company , in a niche market with quality merchandise and unique designs. This share needs to recover to above the 200p mark.

Roguemale1, I believe that you are quite right, as the SP of GXO drops, so does the value of the offer. Who know what the share price of GXO will be when the deal is signed? There is also the added disadvantage of paying tax on American dividends? Therefore this offer is taking CLG on the cheap, and the price is very uncertain.

In South Africa, it is mandatory to wear a mask in public places, except when eating and drinking. However, the BIG problem is vaccine hesitancy . There is plenty of Vaccine in SA. I don't know how you win the argument with these people. Mostly youngsters, but I have even heard them say, we will pray to god and he will protect us. He is more powerful than a vaccine. Spare Us !!!! They are stupid enough to believe all the conspiracy theories. It should not be made mandatory in Africa to be vaccinated as they are now doing in some European countries. Sorry guys, its costing us all.

Results must be good, the way the SP is shooting up, some people must be " in the know". Lets wait and see as I am not one of the privileged few. By the way, love the products, and great for presents.

Great quality company, always a queue at the tills at the county shows, lots of outlets, plenty of social media and on line presence, great unique designs, items well made and wash and last well, so why the drop in share price? What am I missing? Well below price of 2 years ago.

Thanks for all your replies. I do send HC for gifts, Christmas, Birthdays, Mothers Day, etc. which are always loved and well received. Trust all other shareholders do the same, I try to support the companies I am a shareholder of, wherever possible. Unfortunately I am stuck overseas, so cannot get to my local shop, hence the question. Wish I could get a delivery for myself. I have topped up my shareholding at this price, as it seems to be the support level.

Can anyone tell me if the Hotel Chocolate shops are busy. I have not been able to get out to see for myself.

I saw on Google alerts that Marks and Spencer are going to add Joules to their range. I do believe that these extra channels will benefit the sales, as I view Joules as a great value, quality product, with innovative designs, and appeals to the county set, of all ages so has great appeal all round. If you ever have chance, ( when the lockdown ends) to go to a Joules marque at any outdoor event, you will see people queueing at the till, they are always busy, far busier than any of the other retailers.

You May poopoo a survey in a pub with youngsters, but I can confirm that my younger nephews and nieces were onto Facebook etc years ago, before I had even heard of them. The youngsters are the future they keep in touch with what's in, they set the fashions. My younger sister started to complain about M&S fashions years ago, and sure enough the share started to drop thereafter. They are the spenders in this field, listen to the youth, and I don't think you will go far wrong. Look at what they are doing, spending on, as they are the ones with the spare time and money, no mortgage or kids. Just my observations over time. Anyway, keep posting and keep safe.

I saw on Ian King yesterday a report of comments about THG in the Financial Times. This is what it said. I have to say that I agree. Having been in the market of both Cosmetics and sports nutrition, I know what a competitive and difficult commodity they are. I don't think I will be buying now.
