At the moment LFTs are recommended for twice weekly use in people who have NO symptoms. Only if they test positive LFT then they should get a PCR test

Not sure how many Innova LFTs government haveleft but working in a pharmacy I can 100% confirm we were still able to order them from the supplier Alliance Healthcare last Thursday 29th April

As much as I'm invested a good portion of my isa into Avacta and wish to see them do well. Binning 20 boxes of Innova tests is very irresponsible. Yes their accuracy is no secret. However LFTs are there to detect those who may be infectious so they can self isolate and reduce transmission. Even if it only detects 10% of possible positives that is 10% less who will spread the virus. Do you have any idea how much the UK government paid to buy those tests? Who will end up paying for them (yes taxpayers like ourselves). And importantly why would you hoard 20 boxes of LFTs if you dont plan to use them? Some countries are less fortunate than us they would love to be able to test their population on regular basis to reduce isolate positive cases and reduce transmission and deaths. You are an adult please act more responsibly

Unfortunately covid is here to stay just like winter flu. There will always be differing opinions to the RNS last week. Yes proved limited use at home but thats because their condition was not as severe. The point in inhaled interferon beta is to reduce imflammation and aid those who are breathless which evidence has shown it does

Focus is on covid, but it would be silly to not see in future it can play an important role to those who experience breathlessness in other medical conditions most notably asthma and COPD. Ask asthmatic patients how they feel when they feel they cannot breathe and their regular inhalers is not helping

Make your own decisions. Short term this share can be volatile but it will not bother me I am in this for the long term potential of a life changing treatment. If dips then will top up. Good luck all in what you choose to do
