Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I like how you missed the entire paragraph.....
"Aidan Bishop will step down from the Board when a replacement has been identified. With his time freed up off the board, and as the largest shareholder, he will continue to work with the Company to progress the various opportunities that are being presented. In addition, he will originate new technology opportunities to create value for shareholders from the new technology development platform, a concept which has only been accelerated in terms of merit since the arrival of COVID-19, and the need for technology to address the fresh issues which it has delivered."
Bash, I do think Jsmith plays games also and acts dumb.....unless he or she is the village idiot Tanbob states he is.
With bigdish.... I do still feel they will do well it's only time....everyone knew the annual report wasn't gonna be great. I think part of the expansion they have put an ad up for a Chief technology officer for someone based in India.
Who invests alot of money into a company and then thrashes it everyday bombarding the board with negativity and then expects the share price to go up after it? Does not make sense lol...... I think Ron got it right by selling first and then thrash it with utter sh-ite in order to buy back in cheaper. I think you should get some tips off Ron Jsmith.
Thanks Lion! Even I kept thinking the same like everyone else what the hell's happening. The RNS does state they are going to beta test the delivery element to begin with....with a small amount.
As stated on the RNS - BigDish-to-GO will launch in beta towards the end of next week, and restaurants will progressively go live on the BigDish platform. Of the initial 200 restaurants in the beta launch, about half of these restaurants have their own delivery capability. The Company expects to announce in August its first last-mile delivery partner integration that will extend the reach of BigDish-to-GO to more restaurant partners. With the growth of off-premise dining, BigDish expects that BigDish-to-GO as a Software-as-a-Service ("SaaS") model will continue to be well received and as such will continue to increase both the functionality and reach of the service.
Thanks Bob for pointing that out to Ron. And by the way 2000 restaurants are now, you're not taking into account the many other restaurants that will be added by the end of the year with delivery capabilities.....and the numbers will keep growing.
Rons talking sh-ite again. £250 a month? where did you get that from? I'm sure reading one of previous posts within your several attempts to get your low entry point, you stated the same things as you've just stated and someone did correct you. It's actually £50 per month, per element - delivery/reservations... I do hope people don't believe anything Ron has to say and actually research for themselves.
With the government incentive being for this month only I don't think it's going to affect bigdish in any way, regarding the late release of the new app. The app was originally created for yeild management and after august this app will come in use for restaurants gaining bookings in those quiet periods. The restaurants are on here for free until the start of the new year, so after this month they'll see the benefits of having Bigdish and hopefully stay in the coming year - Plus side having the delivery function added.
I do agree they need to tweet something atleast on why there's a delay. The hype over the eat out to help out app with just 10k downloads on the app store kinda flopped as that app doesn't even work. So with that in mind, rather have a great working app than a sh-tty one that doesn't work.
The big cloud from Ron's rear end....again coming from someone who said they've jumped ship and no longer interested in bigdish is still on this board with more attempts of scaremongering...(look out for those words like tick tock, judgement day etc lol). Hopefully as you say if they do have 20,000 restaurants on board (realistically half that amount by the end of year) the majority of those restaurants will remain on board - according to their website they're charging £50 a month per element which is next to nothing. So do the calculations of what will come. In regards to advertising... the restaurants would most likely divert customers to bigdish, having customers steer away from just eat or deliveroo to avoid getting wacked on commission fees. It's all one step at a time once the restaurants reach a good number in all locations they will put the strategy in place for marketing, which is most likely already thought of.
Bigdish will be under one umbrella dine in, take aways and deliveries...... he mentioned about OpenTable, again if you look at their site it only directs you to deliveroo and Uber eats when wanting to make orders for delivery and the new eat out to help out app, has anyone looked at the Google reviews? Not looking so good at the moment tbh and again nothing what bigdish are offering - as Tanya mentioned it's an enquiry system where you can send a message to the restaurant and giving details of who is on the scheme which one user has described. I've tried to download the app but come to an halt as it requests quite alot of information from you, Facebook accounts, Twitter accounts etc and I guess that's how they'll profit from consumers. So question is which company out there is like bigdish? So far I've not come across any other, despite people like art and Greenspan claiming there is.
Another statement Art made is bigdish is based in Philippines....again incorrect. The IT tech team is based there (UK address is on the website). They were originally based there but moved to the UK to start here with the asia side put on hold - which art already does know about (look at previous posts from him). Again the lack of understanding Art has is that with any new tech there will be up and downs once the tech is formed and various types of changes will occur. If lockdown did not occur bigdish would have just continued the way they were and not sure how art finds that beneficial especially when he was dissing everything they were doing then also. It's only a matter of time once this kicks off.....the locations that were on there previously have been placed invisible and will come back gradually, as anyone can see the numbers have gone up. Good to see wildwood back.
Here's the tweet - https://twitter.com/BigDishApp/status/1288026952109109248?s=20
And yes Art is right DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH..... Don't listen to art.
Art is being distruptive for only one reason and most people would have gathered this already, to get in lower......this person also stated would never invest back yet comes back onto the board bombarding nonsense and false statements. This person has no credibility and will moan at anything whether it's good or bad.
First of all not sure if Art lives in the city or some village bog, or under some bridge...take aways and delivery has always been around way before Uber eats and deliveroo. His statement of how deliveries and takeaways will no longer be required after 5 months or so is absolute bull. How do you think uber eats, just eat and deliveroo have benefited and became so popular? Restaurants use these platforms because it also helps promote their business (advertising) especially how competitive it is and the convenience of taking orders online. His other statement about how these platforms charge....if he had done his research he would have realised how stupid he sounds. They can charge upto 35% off the bill and not only that charge a service fee. If you have used deliveroo or Uber eats youre charged a service fee on top of your delivery, so to have something delivered could cost around £5 or more. Just eat charge 14%.....so if you calculate the lack of profit these restaurants make, the charges to use these platforms can exceed over a £1000 a month, where as bigdish subscription fee of the assumed £250 a month would work out alot more beneficial, especially when bigdish becomes distruptive to the market. There was an article on this which Adian himself has posted....which Art has missed or deliberately failed to mention.
Art you are absolutely full of it. This is coming from someone who has stated having no interest in bigdish yet constantly bombarding this board with nonsense. There is no credibility in this person or Ron. Same old as usual....games. if you're out, you're out. Stop the pointless stupidity.
Pizza hut wouldn't be coming onboard without looking into all the fine details. This government scheme looks like its working out positive for them with the trial period in place. With hopefully more major chains coming onboard it'll bring brand awarenesses and presence to the consumer. So concerns about no one not knowing bigdish....with this in place it shouldn't take too long. Restaurants are being added daily.
Fake rise? Lol yet the price has increased. If you read the last RNS it does state another RNS will be published by the end of the month. Pizza hut goes live from the 1st of August - so.... RNS before that happens. The tweet/Facebook post is hinting of what's to come (clearly showing the logo within the keyhole as an indicator), so in what way have bigdish pumped this up? It's not just all about investors but consumers also. What I dont get Bottom, people like you who state no longer invested and wouldn't reinvest with a barge pole always come back on the bb with so much negativity and will constantly bombard the bb with same stuff about funding or the past etc on repeat. I don't get your point of calling them out as scammers or liars..... Every company goes through trials and errors and mistakes do happen. Also lockdown has changed the way most companies are run, which is why bigdish has had to make this huge change. While you've been busy into to your other investments bigdish are trying to get back on track, don't mix assumptions with facts.

You're trying to say most of the 80 thousand or so restaurants and takeaways in the uk are going to go bust ....really??. The few restaurants I've been to so far during this month seem to be doing fine. Read the RNS, the strategy has changed it's not just restaurants that will be on the platform but also delivery/takeaways. The long term view of whats to come has alot of potential. Most of the negativity is coming from past efforts and fixated on the past, not looking ahead of what's going to be implemented. Some on here are just playing games in order to get the price down. Issue about funding, restaurants numbers etc...it will all come in time. Most companies which are in dire straits wouldn't attempt to make these type of changes unless they can afford to. Time will tell.... but I'm certain it's not as bad as you make it out to be.
Greenspan if you read my previous posts I did state before the start was not great and I agreed. If I wanted to deramp this based on the begining i could do as it was flawed - but they have shown change. The last RNS, if you look at this board before it was released people were assuming that this would affect bigdish so they responded - the government scheme is only temporary for the month of August on certain days only and no way affecting bigdish in the long run. Since the new CEO there has been improvements especially with the restaurant numbers. Even now, the restaurants have been placed invisible whilst they get In touch with these restaurants, I've noticed a brand new restaurant has been added onto the app - so whilst retaining, new ones are being added. No one likes uncertainty or change, but time will tell.
